If by getting lucky at the last minute you mean our QB connecting with those receivers who you seem to be claiming don't make any difference, I agree.
I seem to remember we were totally useless on 3rd down, which is why, like you say our O watched on. Credit where credits due, Schottie's gameplan was spot on for about 90% of the game in my eyes. He just seemed clueless on the goal line situations.
Our offense will not have both Holmes/Edwards next season and still be just as good with whoever they add. You heard it first here!! Don't tell to many people it's a secret.
I love when people make declarative statements like this based on nothing. It really says a lot. I mean of course Sanchez should be better in year three, so having a lesser receiving corps may not necessarily mean the offense would be worse. That doesn't mean it wouldn't have been better with year 3 Sanchez and the big 2 receivers. With the CBA up in the air, it makes no sense to declare we won't have them both back. It's entirely possible we end up with the 2011 rules which would mean we'd only have to sign Edwards. We should do that anyway.
Edwards, Keller, Cotch are 3 extremely good options for Sanchez, Holmes would be nice n all, but I won't lose sleep if we don't resign him due to the asking price ... as long as the Patriots don't sign him I'll be fine
LOL.. Ignatius Amazingly there IS a salary cap.... And amazingly there ARE a lot of WR"s to be had right now. Worst reply I have EVER read here... i think this guy posts too much for his value added.
Did you just bump an old thread to tell of a guy who hasn't posted here in months? I think Iggy was probably concentrating on this... ...which doesn't strike me as the sharpest post ever.
It is amazing that a moderator can go AWOL for two months. Then there's also MSUJet. Does he do anything? I'd love to see The Dark Knight take over for one of those guys. Maybe go with statjeff22 as the other one.
