    lol

    and hes right.

Aaron Glenn will always be underrated in my book. hard to say that considering hes a 3 time Pro Bowler and 1 time All Pro. 41 INT's isnt too shabby either.

the guy was pretty damn solid in coverage and just always seemed to be around the ball.

I believe it was Cato who referenced how they went out and dumped a bunch of money into Beasely after we lost him in the supplemental draft.

jesus that was infuriating at the time.

24 of the INTs were with the Jets.

The Jets All-time leader is Bill Baird with 34.

    Just sayin-

    I disagree.

    Glenn was never all-pro.

We had to let Glenn go or we would have been in cap hell thanks to Parcells. beasley was not a high priced signing and we wound up winning only our 2nd ever AFC East title w/ Beasley as one of our corners.

I appreciate your opinion, most people love Glenn. I like Glenn but I think he's overrated by most Jet fans. He's treated like revis when he's closer to Marcus Coleman.

I actually agree with you, Glenn was a consistently good player, but never great.

His PDs were usually in the mid to high teens each year, and he ended up with a total of 163 passes defended. That being said he never had a great/fantastic year, he was just a reliable, good player that was not afraid to get physical.

Yep, Aaron Glenn was reliable. He didn't dominate like Revis. Like I said early, if Cromartie comes back to the Jets, then he could easily surpass Glenn in this poll with a couple of seasons. That says something about the quality of CBs our team has had.

Mr. Glenn, but if Cromartie stays with us for 3-5 more seasons, he'll creep up on him very quick

Can I get some love for Donnie Abraham?
Only played 3 seasons for us, but had 7 ints and 96 solo tackles.

Just a nitpick, but that was an expansion draft- not a supplemental draft.

If you only care about the Associated Press All-Pro team, then, no, Glenn was never an all-pro pick. However, the Associated Press picks are no mo' better or official than the SN or PFW all-pro teams.

Glenn was an All-AFC pick by Pro Football Weekly in 1997. The other CB spot was a tie between Dale Carter and James Hasty. The two NFC picks were Aeneas Williams and Deion Sanders.

Glenn was an all-AFC pick by Pro Football Weekly in 1998. The other AFC selection was Ty Law.

Glenn was an all-AFC pick by Pro Football Weekly in 2002. The other AFC selection was Patrick Surtain. Glenn made the Sporting News All-NFL team that year.

Glenn was solid cover-wise but was very weak coming up and filling at the LOS the way Revis is. RB's had a free pass by him. Not very physical. Hasty was the opposite. Ehh coverage wise but really physical in the running game.

totally agree. I'm kind of surprised how big the vote disparity is between Glenn & Hasty.

It's not that I care only about the AP team, that is recognizes as THE AP team. When we hear so and so made all-pro it's not b/c of the Sporting News.

He was never an all-pro corner. he was a good plaer but one vastly overrated by my fellow Jet fans. I'm not saying he was a bad player but I think Jet fans almost treat him the way we treat Revis now and there's no comparison btw the two. Glenn was a good corner, revis is on a HOF path.

Thank you... Quiet as it is kept, Parcells wrecked our cap situation.
