So I have upper deck season tickets and was just offered a yellow parking pass for $100 more for the season by the Jets. Is it worth it? Orange worked out fine for me last year as I would park between IZOD and the stadium and never had a problem finding a spot or getting out after games, and the walk to the stadium only took about 15 minutes. I come from Patterson Plank road, and it doesn't look like the yellow lots that feed from there would be any closer then orange. Is tailgating better in yellow?

You pretty much answered your own questions, I think.

If you approach from the north anyway (from PP Road), the east side of 120 (Orange lots) are actually convenient for you. When you leave and are forced north initially, that's exactly where you want to be going anyway also, so it sounds like it works for you.

As far as tailgating, it's probably all the same. I haven't tailgated in the Yellow yet but will be this fall. I approach from the south and my seats are near the yellow areas, so for me, it's better. For you, it sounds like Orange is the way to go.

Thanks, that's what I was leaning towards. I heard a rumor they were converting an orange from last year to a yellow this year. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this, and if so which lot it is?

If B is now Yellow, that's a start. But look what they've done to Orange... they've diminished it somewhat. I suppose more guys like me will go to Yellow though, so maybe there's just as much room in Orange as before.

Based in my seat location and egress, I'll probably be trying Lots J or D. If I can get out to Rte 3 quickly, I can jump on the TNPK South and be outta there in no time.

I know last season, if a Yellow went to D and it was full they allowed them into E. E is always wide open, it's great.

I didn't know that. Yeah, I noticed E was kind of empty a couple of times last year... well... not empty, but plenty of spaces.

I was on the bus coming over from the other side of 120 and cruised right up past E and I remember being pissed that us Upper Deckers had been stuck out in Orange and all this empty space in E... what a waste.

E is actually ideal for me and just about where I used to park, but the south side of D looks good too, at least for me. I'm gonna have to use one of the Preseasons to scout it out real good.

I went to the Rutgers game last year and that was the only time I parked on the other side of the stadium. Let me tell you it was MISERABLE trying to get out of there after the game. Parking by the izod may suck a little because of the walk in and out of the stadium but as far as getting out of the lot its way better.

Im not sure if the traffic patterns were different that day but it sucked

If you're looking for a tailgate and can get over to the other side, we're always welcome to more Jets fans at L7. Good luck. You should be fine the lots by the "Izod" (I still call it Continental) arena.
