You guys act like it was so terrible. I thought it was so predictable but was wrong on a few of them. The Rock and Austin had a backstage segment which was priceless. Fuck the 60 dollars. The Snoop Dogg and Pee Wee parts were hilarious. The matches were not dragged out besides Cole/Jerry. HHH/Taker actually lived up. It was GREAT. The best wrestler ever kicked ass and ended the show. Worth the money imo...
I saw WM in a bar. I thought it was a pretty good WM, and I always find PPVs disappointing. Pure wrestling & excitement-wise it wasn't great, but it was comedic & entertaining. The HHH/Taker match stunk in my opinion. It dragged on way too long. We actually timed parts & it was at least 90 seconds plus between each move. If he could improve his mic skills, Morrison is the most entertaining pure wrestler in the WWE. He was a complete waste in WM though. Cena or Orton, preferably Cena, needs to turn heel. They need a high profile villain. If HHH were to come back full time, I suppose he could fit the bill too.
I was shocked to read about this when I did. He really was one of the last few entertaining people they had left.
And unfortunatly he will never have a one on one ladder match with Christian like I had been hoping for. I really hope he doesnt leave completly, he has a great mind for the wrestling business and could still help the company behind the scenes.
I already read an interview with Edge a few months back where he said he would retire in the next year, but I'm sure he wasn't thinking it would be like this. He wants to climb Mt. Everest while he's still in good physical condition, which is something I would have on the bucket list, so I remembered it for that. If you've ever seen the history of the ladder match DVD set, it won't take long to notice that Edge was in almost every match throughout the years, and that he took the worst beatings. I'm shocked he lasted into his 40's.
So that wasn't an angle huh? Wow....terrible. Atleast he is retiring as champion..this sucks. PS. Hiker Edge is 37.
He said he started wresting when he was 23 and he's been doing it for 19 years. You do the math. Just so you know where I got my info.
I freaking dig Austin. Even if you dont like wrestling, tough enough is a great show just because of Austin and Bill Demott.
I haven't watched the last couple episodes yet but I still think TE is a great show. I felt the draft was pretty decent overall. The Raw broadcast was terrible because hardly anything happened, however here are a few things I like about moving forward: A. R Truth who I've always hated is finally a heel. He's good at it. B. I like the lack of depth on Smackdown. This means more pushes...which brings me to.. C. Sheamus going to Smackdown means he (imo) finally gets pushed back where he belongs. I could say more but the draft is on..
