no, you are definately in the majority. Only a couple of guys have hated this draft, they hjust started a hundred threads about it, so it seems like the whole board hates it. But you are very right 2 immediate contributors in the front 7. a big power guy to split time with Greene in the future, and allows mcknight to be a change of pace guy with PR/KR potential. Kerley is going to quickly become a fan favorite here, just wait and see... from the OL perspective, both of cally's former guards are still options.. I would prefer skill players, since I think Bill could convince them to come over as UDFA's. We might not be able to with the safties and pass rushers who are around...
Well 9 out of 10 guys you listed are still out there.....so you should get your wish here... I cant get over the 4 secondary guys just sitting there ... Deunta Williams, S Tyler Sash, S Deandre McDaniel, S Kendric Burney, CB I would be happy with any of them, but I would have said that in the FOURTH round too....so what do i know! :breakdance:
Fair enough. I really don't see Romeus getting picked until the end of the 7th at this point. Too many injury concerns.
They still need a pass rusher and maybe a safety. I think they know we want someone in particular and they have no problem taking him.
I would have said the same thing. If we took these guys in the 4th I would have been pretty pumped. If we can get them this late, tanny deserves props. However, I have to think there are some darkhorses out there which we haven't considered yet. Like the Nebraska guards, or a maybe somebody we consider as a potential long term backup like a Tolzein or someone similar. that said give me Jeremy Beal and Deunta Williams in the 7th and I will start doing backflips.
Gotta love Mel Kiper embarrassing Mcshit or whatever his name is...He is a Gaytriots fan and he said how Mallet was a bum and would turn out to be nothing, BUT seeing how the Patriots drafted him...He will be the next Tom Brady. haha Kiper embarrassed him on TV. Loved it, he was fucking blushing like a bitch
So the Patriots wait until the bottom of the 6th round to address their front 7 and they draft... Mikell Carter!
