I've had all the guys you mentioned on my short list for the last few rounds (plus Cliff Matthews) so I am with you.
I think Ricky "The Judge" Elmore is a possibility late 7. Was the other end at Arizona opposite Brooks Reed, way better production, just doesn't measure well...
Romeus isn't a 3-4 player. He's a much better fit in a 4-3 system. He can't 2-gap as a DE and I don't think he has the fluidity in his hips to play standing up.
Damnit Magilla, Elmore is another great option. going to be interesting watching tanny choose from the plethora of guys who have fallen so far...
I may be in the minority but I love this draft so far for us. I think we have 4 guys that will contribute in a major way next season. The first two picks may even be starters before the end of the year, Kerley fills 3 roles as a PR, ST gunner, and slot WR, and we could be talking about Bilal Powell as the steal of the draft one day. I really like the prospects of a Grenne/Powell power combo with McKnight mixed in for change of pace in the near future. I think we should close with OL and BPA. We'll be fine at LB/S.
no you mis understand, not everyone i listed should be drafted here, just that they are talented guys going way later than I expected they would. Sure most of them are guys I want the Jets to draft, but not all of them.
That all these teams are taking other safeties over Deunta Williams and DeAndre McDaniel must mean something.
i would love jeremy beal, kid is a football player, his measurables suck but he CAN get to the QB and bring pressure. IMO a hell of a steal for whatever team drafts him.
