No I see your point, I say third round because I think Powe is going to come off somewhere between the late 3 and early 4. But hey we could take him any where he is available

Thinking about it, i feel like i just described Lowery a little.
Although Lowery didn't prove too good in the slot. Is there a comparison with these players?

I'm liking the thought of Jarrett if we can get him, he would be great for us at safety

No, and unless a team picking in front of us considering taking Romeus and passing on someone who can actually play 3-4 OLB we needn't be concerned.

What do you guys think of Greg Salas? Reminds me a lot of Santonio.

Would like to see him taken in the 4th

OLBs like Fresno's Chris Carter and Texas' Sam Acho should be strongly considered...

Greg Salas would be a good slot option, but he's nothing like Santonio Holmes.

Seeing as I am about 6-10 hours ahead of everyone on this board, I stayed up to watch the first round and when the Jets picked it was 0540 hours out here in Germany. I have read and read some more but what is the honest no bullshit opinion on these two picks. To me they seem like perfection, when we play Brady/Manning we have to DB's to cover them when we play the Ravens/Steelers we have to D line to stop the run.....

I'm thinkin we go safety in round 4 just a hunch. and would not be all that suprised if we traded up in the round for a safety or rush linebacker we really like.

I'll say Deandre mcdaniel, Joe lefeged (bc of his great special teams value), Deunta Williams, and Chris Carter as my 4 good possibilities.

I think we wait till round 6 or 7 to draft a wr.

    Way to go!!

I didn't include Ellis, just like Acho, cause I never thought he would be available in late Rd 3.

I'm liking best available S in Round 4, best available WR in Round 5, Gabe Miller in Round 6, and best available OL in Round 7.

    ???

You have to go back to threads from 2006 and 2007 to see if we kick ass or not.
