That's a risky pick Tanny...... Eric Mangini would did a great job of building a solid lockerroom. Tanny isn't doing us any favors with picks like these.... I much rather draft team captains like Eric Smith in the 3rd than a guy who failed multiple drug tests...
And Eric Mangini did a good job of getting fired twice in 3 seasons. How did all that character help him?
I know right, those gms and their risky picks. You know risking a late 3rd rounder on a guy with massive upside and potential.
You can really feel all the love the team and fanbase had for Mangini. Him going to Cleveland was such a terrible loss to the Jets. I don't think our current players like playing for Rex. The team chemistry is horrible too. Remember when they were all running around like children celebrating with the Jet-plane around Gillette Stadium? Fuckin' hooligans man.
Do you start these threads for attention? You clearly don't have any idea what you are talking about, do you even watch college football? Do you know anything from a FOOTBALL perspective about these kids we are drafting? Congratulations, you have discovered that this kid has made some mistakes in life, smoked some weed, acting like a kid. I've been there, I've made mistakes. We are all human. That has nothing to do with how well this kid plays on the football field. We drafted a really good football player here. Stop bitching and go watch him play some football. Stop reading into the insignificant shit right now.
Jeez... AGAIN!? We have high character guys in Pouha and DeVito on the DL. Everybody on our D is solid from that standpoint... put K. Ellis in the same room as Scott for TC and we're done.
I like the truth... gotta stop these bullshit threads before they get rolling. I think it's safe to assume the Jets could literrally draft Jesus tomorrow morning and JoeyJets is gonna start a thread that says "Jesus!!! He's been dead for 2000 years" !!!! (or in the minds of Pats fans he was reincarnated as Rob Gronkowski)
Uh, Cimini just tweeted: Kenrick Ellis facing July jury trial for felony assault charge, facing 20 yrs in prison, according to Daily Press in Newport News, Va. #Jets
Article on that, since Cimini just goes for sensationalism: http://articles.dailypress.com/2011...20110427_1_hu-s-ellis-kenrick-ellis-ellis-one Doesn't strike me as something he'll ACTUALLY do time for.
If you have the stream on you can hear the reporters discussing it in the room before Tanny and Rex come in.
