Is better as a 4-3 DT IMHO. Don't think he is quick as a 3-4 DE and he isn't big enough or strong enough to be a 3-4 NT for us.
I'd be OK with Acho. I'd be happier with Ellis. Despite using a first rounder on a DE, this franchise is still desperate for a good, young NT, more desperate, I think, than for a pass rusher off the edge. Besides, I think it might be easier to get an edge rusher later in the draft than it will be to get a pure NT.
Am I the only one that see's Acho as a better 4-3 player? I really don't think he will be a good fit in Rex's scheme.
That's a shame. The scouting report makes him sound like a great fit as far as attitude and skills for Ryan's scheme as a depth lineman.
Define late pick. With Pohua producing and Tevaseu showing promise I think we can stand to hold off on NT until later in the draft(4 or 5). If that, then yes. I don't think we need to look at NT unless it's BPA and Williams isn't BPA in this round.
Why not go Powe if we want a NT? Still with Acho on the board it will be difficult to pass on him. Davon House would be a good pick to replace Cromartie in a cheap fashion. that way we can spend on keeping Edwards and Holmes around...
Cimini was listing his Jets targets for this pick and he didn't even include Acho...I tweeted him how he was crazy not too and he just updated it with Acho without even mentioning it.
Shit I can't decide who I want between House, Acho and Williams hope the Jets don't go another direction...
