Special Teams in round 3? That seems a little early. I would like to think that we could find a decent Safety, DT, OLB or WR in round 3.

Does this mean that Brady would have gotten the sex change by then?

Wonder if we might go Edmund Gates... he'd sure be a deep threat to watch out for... but I think there will be great value at Sand hopefully at OLB when we pick.

I think Thomas and DeAngelo Williams should make a good duo ... Thomas looks alot like Ronnie Brown in his running style maybe not as powerful but a little quicker, hopefully he is more durable

Williams is rumored to have the Dolphins as his top FA choice once all this cba crap clears up.

    we will see

well there goes Jurrell Casey to Tennesee. not that I expected him to last to 94, but I would have be curious to see if he could succeed in the 3-4. That said he should be a good fit in Tenn as long as they get him to work.

the miami dolphins QB of the future Tyrod Taylor...

I would be pissed. I actually like the kid. I think he has a Troy Smith type of NFL career in him. I would hate to have to root against him... but if he becomes a phin so be it.

You can't remove Taylor anyways. Even if it doesnt do the Jets wonders, it has apparently cursed the Pats into making horrendous decisions. That alone is worth keeping around

No shit. I'm not talking about the difference between a QB and a RB. I'm talking about the difference in his contract if he's taken at 73 instead of 74. Do you think Colt McCoy would have seen a significantly higher contract last year if he had gone one spot ahead to the Bengals?

The swap wouldn't have cost the Pats a dime. He's getting the same QB escalator whether he's 73 or 74, and he's probably not even going to see most of it, since the escalator tends to come with heavy performance bonuses in the 3rd round and he's unlikely to see the field over the life of his 4 year contract.

I'm thining a corner like House or Patrick might be in play... no love for Deunta Williams?

PS Love the Pettis pick... Bradford will love him!

PPS and also Hankerson to the Redskins makes a ton of sense.

Pettis is going to be quite useful to bradford over the years.

Hankerson goes right after to Washington
