I am starting to think the NFL needs competition. Is that league that pelosi's hubby started ready to go this fall? These filthy rich money grubbing people are making me sick! They are not trying to save the game, just make more off of it. At least the players spend their money and help the economy!
Anyone surprised by this wasn't paying attention. I was trying to temper the enthusiasm yesterday, but oh well.

Competition would help. Initially I was thinking that the UFL would do pretty well where the others (USFL, XFL, etc) had failed. However as more time goes by, I wonder WTF the UFL is doing. We had a franchise here in Orlando, but for the 2 years it was here there was basically zero advertising. I didn't hear any radio ads, no billboards, and didn't see any newspaper ads. It was all just word of mouth. Plus, the team played their games at the Citrus Bowl. When you have only 500 people show up to a stadium that holds 70,000 it looks pretty bad. Then, the UFL instituted a fine to players of $150,000 if they leave and sign with an NFL team. That doesn't make it very easy for players to come on with the UFL to make a name for themselves, or prove they can still play, with hopes to make it back to the NFL. I've given up on trying to be a fan of the UFL. I don't think they know what the hell they're doing.
Sort of. It seems they were right that the CoA is issuing a decision on the stay this afternoon, and it will be quite shocking if they issue a denial.
Wow! they have been playing, I did not know that. Horrible mgmt if no one has ever heard of you. How do you put fannies in the seats without marketing?
