ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen both confirm that Da'Quan Bowers' slide out of round one was due to the fact that last year's NCAA sacks leader will likely need more knee surgery. "He's still got looseness in his MCL, and his PCL," reported Schefter. "Teams think he'll need (more) surgery." On Thursday, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported that Bowers has a "bone-on-bone" condition in his already surgically repaired knee, which sounds to us like microfracture is a definite possibility in the near future. Don't be surprised if Bowers continues to plummet today.
if he is there in the third round id take him even with the baggage since the risk reward is gonna be worth it
Seems similar to what dwayne robertson suffered.. dont bother drafting him.. i rather draft a special teamer who can spell some of the defensive line..
Mayock said a moment ago if he makes it past the 2nd round today, then there is reason to think he won't get drafted, which doesn't make sense to me. somebody would certainly take a 6th or 7th on him at the very least for a guy thought to be a top 3 pick a few months ago.
Because there is a draft forum for these things, and threads should be placed accurately to save us from the work of moving them.
Bone on bone is never good, especially for a football player, its not worth drafting a guy for 3 years or less, a defensive lineman if good should last atleast 8 to 12 years...
Really you banned him for making a smart ass comment. A nerd with power is a dangerous thing. Lighten up guys.
