sorry, dude. If you're criticizing anything I post, I take that as a massive compliment.

 

Reminds me of firemanedjr last night. Anytime he posted something, I assumed the opposite to be true. There are a select few guys that posted they didn't like the Wilkerson pick, which confirmed that it was indeed a good pick.

 

Think about this guys... out of the picks that made sense (Wilkerson, Heyward, Ayers, Carimi, Reed, etc etc) ALL where available (except Phil Taylor and Jimmy Smith).

This means it's not like the Jets where stuck with Wilkerson... out of all those guys that made a ton of sense for us they chose him. This makes me a lot more comfortable with the pick.

If Heyward had gone befor our pick many here would be saying "I bet the Jets first choice was Heyward and Wilkerson is the fall back option" but it was our choice and I trust our scouting department.

 

I was puzzled too by the Bowers chant, the entire league is scared of his surgically repaired knee and we're supposed to waste our first round pick on him?
