Akeem Ayers would love to play for Rex.

    He's not an elite pass rush prospect like Von Miller (or Gholston :shit: ) but the problem is that at #30 we don't have a crack at any of those blue chip guys. We're in a situation where we have to take a guy like Ayers who could be a good but not great pass rusher, or a d-lineman who won't offer much of a pass rush.

    I don't think Reed, Sheard, or Houston offer any more than Ayers would be able to, and those are likely to be our options at that point at 30 for an edge rusher.

    If you watch Ayers play, you know that he is someone that is more then capable of being a successful pass rusher.

    Now, I think a lot of ppl are expecting us to find a Demarcus Ware type who can get us multi digit sack numbers, but there just isn't going to be anyone like that at our selection.

    But people find these players all the time later in the draft.
