I will be setting up the 2011 Draft Discussion thread thread in a few hours. Twitter followers, please don't post the pick before it's announced from Radio City on ESPN and NFLN. We had a lot of TGG members pissed that it was getting posted early. Also, ESPN has been known to announce some picks before the Commish, I believe NFLN doesn't announce it early. I remember the Dustin Keller pick being revealed early .
Speaking of that, has anyone heard if ESPN will stop tipping off the picks before they are announced? I hate that shit. And before you say it, yes, I'd rather watch NFLN, but I don't get that channel, and the internet feed seemed to skip a lot last year, presumably from being overloaded. I guess I'd rather watch it live on ESPN than delayed on NFLN, but that's even debatable.
ESPN usually does, They have a reporter right next to the guy who takes the card. I hate that they do it.
Yeah ESPN ruins a lot of the top 10 picks, Sanchez even put his Jets hat on before the pick was announced. Nothing we can do about that though, it's the twitter people that ruin it.
