If Braylon can play to his full potential, with his size he could give Holmes a run for his money. Braylon is a tall receiver after all, maybe not as tall as any player on San Diego but still pretty good for us.
To add to that, I think without Holmes we'll see Dustin Keller get a lot more catches this year. Keller is solid, dependable, and is set to have a break-out year. Actually last year should have been his breakout year, but I think Holmes took away a lot of his plays. Look at what Keller did in the first 4 games, he had something like 4 touchdowns... after that, nothing. With Holmes gone, we'll see the other guys step up.
I like Braylon because of his height, but I don't have any hate for Holmes. It's football, not a popularity contest. Holmes is a big time weapon. I'd be happy if we kept either one, ecstatic if we kept both.
People act like it's a foregone conclusion that Holmes will leave the Jets. I still think the FO will do whatever they can to keep both Braylon and Santonio on the team. They've said time and again that Sanchez's development is their top priority.
Yeah that's what I was saying earlier. Through the first 4 games of last year Keller had 5 TD's, and 254 receiving yards. That's including week 1, which really shouldn't count for anyone on offense. lol That production was done in 3 weeks basically
Holmes intangibles will always make him more valuable. Ask anyone in the league. Patrick Turner is attending Jets West as well. http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/je...s-may-2-8-in-southern-california-if-league-do
I’m sure that the FO will try to resign him. Yeah it’s not a sure thing that Holmes won’t return, but I’m not holding my breath for it anymore. All signs point to him wanting to sign a big contract as a free agent, and there’s no signs I’ve seen that he wants to return to the Jets. That’s fine. I’m preparing for the worst, so I’m assuming he won’t be back.
I really like Braylon and the chemistry he's developed with Sanchez too. It seems like Rex and the front office really really like Holmes tho.
Negative attitudes bring down teams. Holmes attitude right now it certainly that. I want Edwards to be a Jet for life after last season and how he reacted to Dennis Byrd's influential speech.
 Damn right...given the same amount of opportunities. Good to see Joe Mack working out with those guys....getting him the ball in the open field could be down right lethal......
didnt braylon say he was going last year and then he didnt go? anyway, they better work on screens for at least two whole days
I wonder if Sanchez is gonna postpone camp now that the team facilities are going to be open next week.
I think you need to resign Bralyon, I dont wanna hear anything about his hands, he showed last year he can go up there and pull down any catch. He also will be going into his 3rd season with Sanchez why break up the chemistry?
Who here doesn't want Braylon? At this point, I want him over Holmes. Holmes attitude sucks. Posting pics like this a couple of days ago doesn't help either. Link here- http://twitpic.com/4px1ey
I would rather have Holmes, but he comes off as a selfish dude. Also appears like he doesnt have winning a superbowl as his #1 goal(since hes done it already) If Holmes ends up getting a huge contract from a shitty ass team, then we all know what his #1 goal is. Braylon seems hungry to get it done.
Glad to see McKnights name on the list and also disappointed,as others have said, that Greene won't attend. Braylon just keeps proving to me that he wants to remain a Jet and those are the guys I want on my team.
