Looks good to me. Good job!

On another issue, I just read the Jets draft preview on STs. In that the writer said that the UDFA pool will be closed until the new CBA is signed. Have you heard that before? That's news to me, and would be really weird not being able to sign UDFAs immediately following the draft.

That is 100% true. No FAs of any kind can be signed, including undrafted players.

As for the draft, I thank you Code for not buying into the Bowers is falling crap. I honestly don't believe it, and if it happens I'll shake my head at some foolish teams passing on an outstanding talent.

Well yeah, I mean you cant sign new contracts without a CBA. The draft is basically negotiating rights, so thats fine. But you cant sign anyone to a contract. I agree it is going to be weird not to have UDFAs

    Thanks

I don't entirely not buy it. I think that if Bowers gets past the Bengals teams picking on the clock may be more inclined to pass up. That said I know the Bengals love to take guys with big upsides regardless of the red flags (Andre Smith, Carlos Dunlap, Michael Johnson, etc). So Bowers basically fits that description. That said if he makes it past the Bengals, he wont go below 14 and even thats a stretch

The thing that it reminds me of most is the Vilma situation coming out. I don't think actually had a procedure done, but it's the same thing in regards to major questions about an injury that didn't limit him at all during their his season.
