Tom Brady is not only one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation, it also seems he is one of the greatest pranksters of all-time.

The New England Patriots star admitted today that his overtly feminine behavior in recent years, behavior that has intensified in the past few weeks, has just been an elaborate ruse intended to show “the discordant link between celebrity perception and reality in our culture.”

“I’m not really this soft and lady-like,” said Brady, grabbing at the long, flowing hair framing his face. “I don’t really want to look like this. I mean, come on. I don’t really start crying when I talk about the NFL Draft. I don’t really wear pigtails. I don’t really wear Uggs. I don’t dance by myself to Samba music. I don’t have my wife feed me grapes poolside. I don’t … I can’t even remember everything I’ve done anymore. There’s been so much and it’s gone on for so long.”

Brady says he began his experiment after his breakup with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

“I felt the media didn’t cover that fairly, that I was painted as the bad guy, so I decided to mess with them,” says Brady, “by experimenting with my appearance and behavior.”

Soon Brady started whining and slapping the ground whenever he was touched on the field. Off the field, his hair and attire became more like that of a European football star than an American football star.

“But it wasn’t enough for what I was trying to do,” said Brady. “The perception was that I was just enthralled with my new supermodel wife, Gisele, and was being influenced by that fashion world. I had to do more.”

That was a year ago. Since then Brady has been on a relentless campaign to paint himself in the most absurd light possible.

“And now I just have to stop. It’s too much. It’s absurdist. It’s over-the-top,” says Brady. “Actual women aren’t this womanly. Not even close. I felt I was starting to just do a cheap stereotype of a female when most females I know are much more stronger mentally and physically than the character I have been playing for the past few years.”

But with his ruse at an end, Brady says he successfully made his point.

“Don’t believe everything you see and hear in the media,” he said. “It’s not reality. I’m not a delicate, little, weeping flower. I’m the tough quarterback who won Super Bowls.”

Brady says he will, however, continue wearing women’s underwear.

“They are incredibly comfortable,” he said.

    That was pretty freaking funny...

For some reason (call it my steely intuition), I thought that Gang Green may be having a few laughs over Tom's teary-eyed interview.

its one thing to be emotional but he wept like he was Jodie Foster recounting her pinball game in "the accused".

the guy is on top of the nfl crying like a decade later about his draft position.

its pretty hilarious. teary eyed is being kind. lol

I actually just saw that part for the first time.

In all honesty, I'm one Pats fan who can admit that Brady is completely Metro... he's a male Diva. It started off with the odd CQ shoot (the infamous goat photos) and got worse, gradually, from there. Any Pats fan who defends that whole aspect of Brady's personality is just in denial.

But I can say with equal honesty, I don't care. He can pose with goats, grow his hair long, put it in pigtails... whatever. It's all irrelevant to me. All that really matters to me as a football fan is what the guy does on the field.

The vast majority of the time, I'm happy with those results!

Good luck with that. He's also exhibiting his huge vagina on the field too.

Did you happen to catch his diva performance during the playoffs? He was diving to the ground if it looked like the pass rush was getting anywhere near him. He was too busy looking at pass rushers to check who was open on the field and making crappy passes if there was any rushers within 5 yards of him.

And walking off the field throwing bitch fits.

Yeah, the guy really sucks at football and stuff. The three rings? Two MVPs? That 50-TD season? Highest winning percentage of any QB in the Super Bowl era? Best TD to INT ratio since they started keeping track of that shit?

    Garbage, all of it.

I'm just hoping that at some point, despite his age, he starts showing some of the moxie and talent that Mark Sanchez has shown.

I think in all likelihood, GoPats hasn't watched the playoff game again. I wouldn't blame him. I've seen it on the DVR several times. I thought Romo was the flinch master in the pocket, but Brady is the new Queen.

Check out the flop at bout 1:30. The whole video is good too....

Yeah, they won some superbowls when Brady was in his 20's. Brady's had a hard time getting it up for the playoffs since the SB loss to the Giants. Probably the estrogen supplements.

Of course I haven't watched it again. Have you watched the Steelers-Jets game again?

And that's all you've got? One play in one game? That's supposed to erase a Hall of Fame career?

It wasn't even THAT bad... I mean, c'mon. Ellis beat his guy soundly and had a hand on him in less than two seconds. There was clearly no hot route on whatever play they called, and he was going to get sacked anyway.

Let me ask you something. If Brady was a Jet, would he be almost unanimously regarded as the best player in the team's history?

This is where we find out if you actually know anything about football, or if you're part of a new generation of Jets bandwagoners.

Yeah, I've watched the Steelers game again.

The 'one play' just happens to be the one that is in the clip. There are several more where Gaylord is bailing out while short arming the ball and throwing incomplete with the pass rusher 5 yards from him. They aren't on Youtube.

Let me ask you something. If Brady was a Jet and being an enormous vagina both on and off the field would you be able to recognize it because you are a huge Pats homer?

LOL, I like this guy.

Of course I'm a Pats homer. You're not a Jets homer? I already acknowledged that Brady is a Metro male Diva. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. But to say he's anything but a HOF quarterback is - quite honestly - asinine.

I stop by this board pretty often and I think you'll find that I'm usually pretty respectful of the Jets as a rival. There's certainly a healthy dose of hate, but unlike yourself, I don't have to twist shit around to make myself feel better somehow. The Patriots may have won the division but the Jets handed them a very painful loss in January. So hats off for that.

And let me ask you a question now...

    What's worse?

To have your QB be "an enormous vagina?"

Or to root for the team that got its ass soundly kicked by that "vagina" for about 10 years, helplessly watching a division rival win three Super Bowls and set countless NFL records while your team floundered in sub-mediocrity and changed QBs more often than you probably change your underwear?

I'm gonna go with, "ass kicked by said vagina."

(And before you respond with some snappy comment about the present and future... I respect the Jets, but they haven't won shit yet. Maybe they will, maybe they won't.)

I edited out the emoticons on your post to make you seem like a grown up.

Ten years? That's a good time period to select because you won some trophies. Congratulations. The 49ers won 4 so they are a bad ass team too.

Gosh, we did get our ass kicked once out of the last three times we played the Pats.

And Brady is a fruit. I don't hold that against him, I just recognize it like the rest of the world outside of some Pats fans. Hell, I looked at Patsfansforum about this video and half of the Pats fans thought he was a huge vag.

Of course, I don't go trolling on other team's websites, so I just post here.

    Back to the OP:

I'm not a Tony Romo fan either. I give him some props for making as a starter without being drafted. Kurt Warner too.

Do you think either of those guys would go on a crying fit because they were watching the draft with their mommies and daddies because they didn't get picked in the draft? I think it's more likely that they would put it in perspective and say it worked out fine for them with hard work and perseverance. Except I'm not sure that Romo knows the word "perseverance". Too may syllables.

When you were 10 years old did you cry if you weren't picked when they choose sides for a pickup game?

This exchange started when you responded to me posting:

Apparently you're too fired up or whatever to actually read what I'm writing here, but at what point did I fail to recognize that Brady is a "fruit," as you put it? I very deliberately said just the opposite. He's fruity as hell. But again... I could care less, as long as he keeps putting up MVP seasons.

The only point I've argued with you at all is that Brady is one of the all-time best QBs in the NFL. If you don't understand that, take a few moments to review the thread. I'm not even sure what the hell you're trying to say or prove at this point, other than the fact that I've clearly gotten under your skin by "trolling" on a board that I joined a year before you probably started following the Jets!
