Doesn't it suck? This year we don't even have an "off-season" to entertain us during the off-season, just a bunch of tweets from players about their workouts or their brackets.

Over two months since the last Jet game and we're not even half way through this bitch, with no guarantee there will even be a season when there's supposed to be. Starting to feel like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

Post your off-season hate here, it may save a life. Thank you for your time.

There will be a season, I'm not worried about that but it does suck w/ the only news we see being about the lockout. It would have been much more fun had we finished the job last season.

At least baseball is here, and I can stop pretending to care about college basketball.

    good thread, IS.

And yes, this lack of an offseason is slowly killing me.

I really hope this doesn't turn into the same lockout bullshit the NHL went thru back in 2004-2005

Just think, when baseball season ends we'll have less than 2 months to go in the NFL season.

For me the worst is the time between hockey season and football season. I still have a half month of regular season plus however long the Rangers last in the playoffs. Then there are also the Knicks. However, once they're finished, then the lull of the offseason really hits.

Yes, for me traditionally when the Knicks and Devils finished there was a huge hole until training camp--no games to watch and nothing to read about in my NY Post. As a Dodger fan getting a dish a few years back has helped, but only a little. Not much Dodgers buzz around here.

I go out in the backyard and tackle my seven year old son to help alleviate stress. He's small but he's learning to take some pretty vicious hits via repetition.

Hope his collarbone heals well, and he'll be able to use his right arm soon, it's affecting his schoolwork.

Immerse yourself in the draft. Its the only way.

Get really excited for each pro day and hear the results. And count the days to April 6th, kneel and pray that these fuckers remove the lockout and the NFL can move again.

The only upside has been the lack of retard threads saying "LETS SIGN THIS GUY" for every FA that hits the market.

My life doesn't revolve around NY Jets football, so I'm not too bad. Plus I have the Yankees now. OPENING DAY!

Yup. Season Ends. Season end hangover starts to recede. then..

March Gayness, Baseball trying to have opening day in the rain season, The Draft marred by the lockout.....Even the NHL is close to meaningless games. The Devils good play and the Rangers bad notwithstanding.

This is the worst time of year...

Except for the Tennis U.S. Open (which takes the NY Sports media away from covering the opening of the NFL season)

Considering football is the only sport I watch and that I'm a die-hard fan of this really sucks.

I love seeing, hearing, reading about Tanny in action. Now we're robbed of that and just left to wonder.

It messes with AFC start times in Week 1 or 2 because of CBS, that's about it.

Yeah, we need Rex to start showing up at wrestling or MMA events again.

    Every F*ng year.

It makes me hate driving to and from work with though that has lessened a bit since Fatcessa's partner left..., and the number of sports pages is far less than one would expect.

We can revisit this in September.

They better not delay the release of the schedule because of the lock-out. Usually once that comes out it is refreshing because you can really move on from the last season and get excited about the next. If they do not release that in the next couple weeks I will feel much worse.

I heard it will be released as usual. The NFL is trying to act as if everything is fine, selling tickets and advertising, etc, except the litltle matter of having no players at the moment.
