He belongs with Dez in the Big D. Very talented player that should've been a Rd 2/3 prospect, being stupid drops his stock
Housler to Houston is a thinker, they have 5 TEs under contract already. Unless you plan to switch him to WR like they did with Dorin Dickeron?
We're starting to pick up again.!! Let's keep other's waiting. If you have to leave send me your board.
I just felt he was the best WR/TE available and would be a solid backup to Daniels down the line. I don't think Dreesenn and Casey are anything special.
Wanted to go in a different direction, but once again the value pushed me to go RB. Powell and Kendall Hunter could be a nice 1-2 punch in the Dolphins RB by committee system. Even if they resign Ronnie Brown for a year I still like them for 2 RB's in this draft.
I think Housler could turn out to be just a big WR in the NFL, and he's got some good hands, runs a 4.55 and is 6'5. Should be a nice target for the Texans.
You know you're doing something right when RaiderJeaux sends you hate mail. Marcel Reece is apparently the best fullback in the league.
Wait so he was actually happy about DVD going to Oakland in the 3rd round but got upset over a 6th round pick? :rofl2:
His hands aren't better than Marcel Reece- a converted Wr. Go look up his numbers last year. This past year, the Raiders offense showed sparks of dominance. For me at least, having an offense ranked in the top ten of the NFL was easily the most exciting part of last year. The Oakland Raiders put up more than 21 points in 11 different games in 2010. Before that, the Raiders had only been able to score more than 21 points in 16 games over the past five years combined. A large part of the offensive resurgence can be attributed to the monster year that Darren McFadden had, along with the game changing plays made by Jacoby Ford later in the season. However, Marcel Reece played a large roll in remaking the Raiders offense as well. Reece became a big play threat catching passes out of the backfield this season, averaging 13.3 yards per catch, including plays of 73 and 51 yards. Reece finished the season with 25 receptions for 333 yards and three touchdowns. Jeff Gross/Getty Images Recce's ability to catch and run with the ball should come as no surprise. He played wide receiver in college at the University of Washington before being moved to tight end and finally fullback while with the Raiders. While his numbers were not gaudy, his presence made a big difference on the offense. The Raiders have had issues with their offensive line for years now and the constant pressure on quarterbacks has led to check down passes as often as it has lead to sacks. With Reece, the Raiders suddenly had a check down option that could not only get the first down, but had the ability to break a huge play. Now that Reece has shown that he can be a difference maker, the Raiders need to use him more like one. Reece needs to receive more targets and the Raiders need to draw up more plays specifically for Reece.
Bullshit. The numbers speak for themselve. Again Marcel Reece has better size, better speed , and better hands than Stanley Havili. thats a Fact. Hey I will run your point by the Raider board . who have seen Havili alot.
Not taking any sides, but Reece is a pretty damn good FB. Doesn't mean he can't use competition though...
Again Raiders might bring in a pure blocking FB for the run downs as they can use marcel Reece in variety of roles. The specualtion is they might go out and get Leron McClain in Freeagency. First his cousin is Rolando and He very close to Al saunders and Hue Jackson.
Unless the Raiders will commit to giving LeRon 100 carries, he won't go to Oakland. A big reason he doesn't want to go back to the Ravens is because they won't give him the ball...
