Fantasy Baseball Keeper League (NEW for 2010)

Sort of.

One is a TGG league which I am not in, but almost joined last year.

The other is a league I started this year which currently consists of four TGG members (me, Oasis, mj2sexay, and you). That league is not a "TGG league" as it appears the majority of the managers will not be TGG members.

 

I saw that bullshit too.

Someone picked up a shit ton of a players a few days ago.

Select your keepers and wait until the draft to fix your roster.

 

I am just saying that is the way it was. I came into the league two years ago and it was open to pick up guys. It does not defeat the purpose of a draft because you can only keep 7 guys anyway. so the rest become free agents. there were two guys out there that would have made my top 7 so I picked them up.

No biggie, Wildthing voided my moves. I am not complaining just stating that the reason I picked up players was because I thought it was ok. This year I will play the finals differently and when a guy cuts a player like Lariano I will pick him up then for the next year.

 

I'm fine with those dates. I'm 100% out of it's on the 31st, however.

 

I'm going to set the draft date for the 30th at 8:00 does anyone have a problem with that?

Also does anyone want to expand the DL list from 3 to 4/5 or is everyone alright with just 3? I know I had an issue with 3 with injuries last season to my keepers(Kinsler, Morneau and A-Rod) all of whom had time on the DL and were undroppable in a keeper league.

Just to clarify, if we don't keep 7 we get extra draft picks?


Can we trade players for picks?

 

Yes but you should have at least 4. Just a recommendation since it's not a rule.

Yes you can trade draft picks for players but try to keep trades even (1 for 1, 2 for 2, etc.) Can't have more than roster max so extra picks would be worthless.

 

I need to get younger, I'll trade some picks or some of my vets for picks and/or young players.

Because the draft hasn't happened yet and you didn't drop anyone.

You get to add them to the DL after the draft not before.

BTW - 5 people haven't done their keepers yet make sure you do them before the draft or you'll lose them all.
