I've been targeting a developmental quarterback for the Raiders over the past few rounds - I'm lucky that a prospect with a mid-third round grade slid this far.

Stanzi's got the tools to start in this league, he just needs to become more consistent.

Sitting and learning behind a conservative game-manager like Jason Campbell could help him out a lot.

Damn wanted Devlin for the Bengals in the 6th as a developmental QB. Good pick for the Eagles since Lion will be gone and in the future Vick could go down. Philly is great with QBs.

I had Stanzi solidly above Devlin, but Pat was still the only option left that I had faith in to potentially start (if necessary).

Nice picks with Stanzi and Devlin. I was considering themfor the Phins but I think their either going to give Henne one last shot or go the Free Agent route and look for someone that can step in right away.

    Nevertheless, nice picks.

No offense to anyone, but my Eagle and Bronco drafts to this point are both magical right now.

The Philly draft is better than Denver. Bigger names with the Broncos, but that Eagle draft could have four rookie starters and a major contributor in Thomas.

Also shout out Mr E for staying in character with the Raiders. That DVD in the 3rd round kind of went under the radar, but was a definite I See What You Did There moment.

LOL I can imagine Al Davis and his reaction after the 4.28 by DVD

"You see that boy go? That's a Raida right there. That's a Raida" while he is clapping and smiling while the Raider scouts and front office people fake smile while thinking "Ah shit not again"

He could be the next Mitchell, a 5th-6th rounder shooting up to round 2-3

GH maybe you can enlighten me to this but I fail to see why the eagles would draft a QB. I like Devlin as a prospect, but I fail to see why he fits in Philly.

They have Vick, Kolb is also unlikely to be moved pre-draft thanks to the mess that is the CBA, then they just drafted a developmental QB in Mike Kafka from Northwestern last year.

So for next year you have two QBs you want to hold onto and a guy you just drafted a year ago who could develop into your long term #2, why draft another developmental guy without really giving Kafka a chance to grow?

I could see it I guess if Kolb is moved, but due to the rules and restrictions, I don't think he will be able to be moved. That leaves them with 4 qbs for their roster in 2011. So forgive me for questioning your pick, I just can't see why you take a QB. Surely they have another position they could address....

i like both my Bengals and Atlanta picks so far, although I need a couple more pieces to polish them up a bit. Solid for my first draft.

    CINCINNATI BENGALS, JohnnythaJet
Rd 1 - AJ Green, WR, Georgia
    Rd 2 - Marcus Cannon, OG/OT, TCU
    Rd 3 - DeAndre McDaniel, S, Clemson
Rd 4 - Nate Irving, OLB, NC State
Rd 5 - Dion Lewis, RB, Pitt
    Rd 6 -
    Rd 7 -
    Rd 7 -

So far alot of potential there but this draft should work out for the Bengals more like next season then this, although I think Irving, Green, Cannon, and McDaniel can all start.

    ATLANTA FALCONS, JohnnythaJet

Rd 1 - Justin Houston, DE, Georgia
Rd 2 - Randall Cobb, WR, Kentucky
    Rd 3 - James Carpenter, OT/G, Alabama
Rd 4 - Casey Matthews, LB, Oregon
    Rd 5 -
    Rd 6 -
    Rd 7 -
    Rd 7 -
I like my improvements on D for the Falcons, this added pass rush should help there secondary even more. Also Cobb should be a #2 from day one and really help open the field more for Roddy White, Mike Smith said the Falcons needed explosiveness, well he got it.
Carpenter I had as a bit of a sleeper, he can play LT,LG, RG, and RT so with 3 starting FA OLineman for the Falcons he should be solid insurance and could very well be a starter given his solid pass blocking ability.
