Im going to get burned for taking Lewis in the 5th but I think he could be a steal and is a good fit with the Bengals, Benson could very well come back but is 28 and only has a few more years, also Bernard Scott is a solid return man but Im not sure he can become a starting RB.

Lewis had a bad combine and some say he came out way to early, which I agree, but going to the Bengals here gives him 2-3 years to develop, bulk up a bit, and really get a feel for the NFL. I think he could become a great starter if he gets solid time like that and develops correctly.

Now his value could be somewhere between the mid-5th round to early 6th but I couldnt take a chance on waiting and just drafting a rotational player. Also the way I see it if he had another solid year at Pitt (1200+ yards) he could easily be a 2nd round RB, so 5th rounder for a 2nd rounder next year could very well work out.

Cameron isn't quite as far along as a Jimmy Graham, but he has a similar upside. The great thing is that he gets to learn from one of the most consistent TEs in the past decade in Shockey like Graham did.Shockey might have taught Graham to much, he basically took his job.

There's another TE I considered, but I didn't like some things about him...

Graham has been getting alot of hype, I think in a few years he could be a top 5 or 6 TE especially with Brees throwing to him.

If drafted by Carolina hopefully they let him develop. Or in really any system he'll need to, I think his best fit (in the real draft) is with the Falcons learning under Tony G.

Btw there's one DE falling very rapidly, should of been picked maybe the middle to end of last round, will see how the 5th works out.

The "Dancing Bear" is off the board, McClain is a favorite of mine, perfect rotational DLineman for the Texans, hes a bull rusher and stops the run effectively. He is very underated.

Thanks. McClain is probably more of a 4-3 DT than a 3-4 end, but at that point I felt he was too good a value to pass up. With Quinn, Ras-I Dowling, Ballard, Gilchrist, and now McClain, I think Texan fans would be excited about the new life I've injected into their defense thus far, especially considering how bad it was last year.

Graham is a Jumbo TE with great upside, especially in that offense. I'm kinda surprised more "non-elite" basketball players don't give football a try.

He probably wouldn't play much at Carolina year 1, maybe in "Hail Mary" situations or as a 5th-6th WR. Gonzo is probably the best to learn from in the league, but I wouldn't called Shockey chopped liver either...

Now all you need is maybe another WR and youll have a really good draft.

Oh no Shockey certainly isnt, just saying one of the best TE's still in the game is a superb mentor.

And yeah i expect him to maybe be on special teams and some two te sets. But after a few years he'd be a great target for either Locker or Clausen.

Wow, I just noticed I selected 3 USC players in a row with Carolina, pure coincidence.

I guess since Rivera was SD's former DC, he had plenty of time to go over and watch USC practice...

    Ha, that's pretty crazy.

And I love Newton and Trooper Taylor's reaction when she drinks it, "OMG, she did it!"

I'm really happy getting Kendric Burney. Had a great Senior Bowl week. Doesn't have the height or measurables, put knows how to play football. Should be a good special team player and at the very least a solid nickel/dime CB.
