I don't want Moore, Ayers, and I don't think Sheard is a first rounder anymore.

Reed and Taylor I have no problem with.

with the plethora of pass rushing threats in this draft....if we end up taking Moore in the 1st round, I'm gonna cry.

I like Phil Taylor alot but I despise every lazy draft analyst picking him for us (also I dont feel like he's a 1st rounder) and completely forgetting about Pouha and our extreme need at pass rush.

Sheard was never a first rounder to begin with.

I think he can sneak into the last few picks of the 1st, even if it's a bit of a reach. I think the Jags made a statement picked when they "reached" for Alualu, more teams might take the approach.

If there were trades in the mock, I would have definitely traded out, I figured to grab him @ #32 because he, along with others, weren't gonna be there when I picked again...

Reed, Taylor, and Ayers all realistic possibilities.
All have good potential, along with some question marks. If our scouting dept feels comfortable with them, I'd be happy with one of those picks.

I don't see any scenario in which we go after Moore in round 1.
There are options at S in round 3, plus we can always re-sign some of our guys inexpensively. We need front 7, and this draft has plenty of good options for that.

Is Justin Houston completely out of the picture now? I know alot of boards have had him rising, but could he slip to us?

if we are picking one of the two, I would certainly be in favor of Paea. Taylor is so vastly over rated because he is a NT and basically is the only one of the NT prospects that is even garnering a second round grade, and as we all know lots of need and very low demand pushes prospects up boards quickly.

that said, we should be able to get a pass rusher. There are simply too many of them available for all the potential players to be gone by 30.

    Von Miller
    Robert Quinn
    Aldon Smith
    Justin Houston
    Brooks Reed
    Akeem Ayers
    Ryan Kerrigan
    Martez Wilson

and I feel like i am forgetting somebody who could be good value at 30. Thats a lot of pass rushers to fly off the board in 30 selections, somebody will drop to us. The question is which one? and is he a guy we want if he falls to us?

I really like brooks reed at our pick- it makes a lot of sense for us. I really dont like the taylor pick, i feel like he is really overrated. I saw some of his tape, and he just got swallowed up by one to two lineman which can not happen, plus we have sione pouha who is extremely underrated...PASH RUSHER IN THE FIRST.

The only guys that are missing are Sheard and Acho but they are more of trade down candidates then 1st rounders.

yeah, I was not counting them, since i don't feel they would be "value" selections at #30.

Obviously from my list Miller and Quinn will be long gone. Smith I think is the 3rd OLB off the board, then after that it appears to be the teams choice as to how it will go. So anybody could pretty much go anywhere...

Also I think its likely a couple of those guys go as 4-3 ends (Kerrigan) instead of 3-4 OLBs.

With everyone clamoring over themselves to overhype all of the QB's, I'm really hoping we can trade back with some sucker desperate to snag Ponder too high.
