I'm liking the way the draft board is falling....excellent work so far, guys. Anyway...I'm heading out for a quick workout at the gym...I'll be back in an hour or so. I left my Giants board with 624 and WW85.
I'm here, pick inc soon: Tampa continues to add to the defense. CB is a position that is up in the air for Tampa. If Ronde Barber does not return they would have a huge hole at the #2 spot. Brown is a good safty valve pick with potential to be a very good cover corner in the NFL.
thanks 624. The Giants finally have a true MLB in Sturdivant. Goff is terrible, and nobody has really made difference at the Mike LB position for the Giants since Pierce.
Taken care of..new pick in...sorry for oversight Getting value and good fits has been the theme for my colts draft. A few of my ideal targets have gone right before my selection..and with the Colts having alot of aging positions, best player available is the way to go. With Ryan Diem having one year left in him at the most, Solder can improve his technique and bulk up before taking over an OT spot in his second year. He projects as a top pass protector and fits nicely in indy's pass first offense. Greg Jones mightve been there in round 3 but late 2nd isn't bad value and his playing style is a nice fit in the Colts speedy cover 2 D.
FINALLY, 'bout time Watkins comes off the board, it's ridiculous how far he fell. Age be damned, Guards can last a while, plus he doesn't have a bunch of football wear...
Hankerson is a nice pick. Bowe needs someone to take some of the pressure off of him...and Chambers is a deadbeat now.
Thanks, my thinking exactly....Hankerson was good value and the Chiefs definitely need another receiver to compliment Bowe.
Man, I pray the draft doesn't end up this way. I absolutely hate this draft. The Pats getting both Watt and Reed?!?!?! OUCH!!!! Wilkerson gone, Houston gone, Houston and Reed going back to back, and perhaps worst of all, the Jets wind up with Akeem Ayers. Blecch!!!! I will be absolutely sick if the draft turns out this way.
yea, I had him as a late second rounder jsut because of age, but he should be able to step in right away. with freeagency at 4 or 5 yeas in the next CB, he'll be due for a huge payday right in his prime.
I'm not a big fan of Ayers either. I read somewhere that Ayers doesn't have the mental capacity to learn Rex's complicated playbook....yeeesh.
