    Thanks!

That is definitely the consensus pick for Miami, but if they really want a rough and tough ground attack like Sparano recently stated, it all starts with the O-line and their's is pathetic.

Plus I think Carey could make the transition to guard rather easily giving them a starting 5 of Long, Jerry ,Incognito, Carey, and Smith.

    Sir...........I like your pick.

You can address the other key position later.

There is plenty of good depth in this draft.

I wrote it on the back of my hand to make sure it doesn't happen again.

But it's another testament to how generic the Miami pick has been projected as, I'm so comfortable with his name being called there...

I'll be in the minority here saying I don't like the Smith to MIA pick (only my opinion of course).
I don't think it's very wise, for a team with as many needs as Miami, to go after a RT in the top 15 of rd1. The only way it would've made some sense was if their LT was reaching the end of his career but Jake Long will play another 10 yrs.

That said have fun everyone, pissed as hell I'm not part of it but I had to choose between this and sex and... well... love you guys but not as much :p.

Man I remember when I took Wilk with the Eagles in the middle of the 2nd rd in our 3 rder 1-2 months ago.....

Can't believe how far he has risen. I think he can be very good, just worried that he might be overdrafted by some team. Don't blame Jam here though because Wilk is being considered a top 20 pick by some.

That and the Jags as shown by last year don't care about who is ranked where and will take whoever they want at their pick.

I agree, the Dolphins had more pressing issues than. Tackle, is Smith deserving of going that high, of course I just don't think I would have gone in that direction

I don't get the Wilkerson pick, the Jags already have a great interior with Knighton and Alualu.

Unless we are talking strongside DE?

If you think about it, it plays into his hand.

With the Fins not picking who everyone expects them to, that player is in for a bit of a free fall, pushing back the RB talent right to their 2nd round pick...

Like the Watt pick for NE...great motor, a type of guy Belichick would gush over, never gives up on plays, good pass rushing instinct. Him and and that other similar DE would be both great choice for NE.

Would hate facing Watt twice a year.

I re-read the guys drafted and came to the conclusion that the Dolphins are in a shitty position to draft based on their needs.

From a talent point of view Smith is definetly worth the 15th pick but I really don't know who I would've chosen in Sir's situation. Probably would've gone with what every other mock has... but in real life I can see them trying to trade down.

Yes, defensive end. Big need for the Jags who gotta build up their defense. Without any good value at SS, FS, or ILB had to go for the dE

We can agree to disagree, that's what makes this great. This is exactly why I did what I did. In an ideal world I would have loved to trade back based on the values at positions of need, but based on the hand I was dealt I thought O-line was the best choice.

I am a firm believer in not taking a RB in round 1 unless he is a special, special talent, and to me, the "consensus pick" to the Dolphins is not that.

Plus I view O-line as a top 3 need for this team. Thanks for the feedback though!

Damn the 2 guys I took in the rd 3er(Carimi and Watt) went back to back again lol.

But yeah SD RB's are going to love running behind Gabe. Mauler run blocker and should be a great RT for the Bolts.

Great job so far. I like the way the draft has fallen.

Cato, thanks for getting my pick in. I was gunna make the pick from my phone at 12:30, but I saw that you guys already took care of it. Good teamwork.

If Cameron Jordan and Suh are on the same DL, the Lions might finally start beating division opponents.

I couldn't hate pick #17 any more if it actually happened.

A nice thought but that will mostly depend on who is stepping in for Stafford's corpse.

man, i thought Watt was going to drop to the Chargers....then i realized that WW85 was drafting in front of my pick.....bastard. :)

But, I love the Carimi pick too...the Chargers oline needed retooling.

With Bradshaw and Jacobs both being Free Agents......and Bradshaw's problems with fumbling. Ingram falling into the Giants' laps gave Jerry Reese a boner.
