NFL | Will Rackley participates in Pro Day Thu, 24 Mar 2011 14:58:14 -0700 Lehigh OL Will Rackley measured 6-foot-3 1/4, 309 pounds at his Pro Day Thursday, March 24, reports Gil Brandt, of NFL.com. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.50 seconds and 5.39 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.78 seconds and the three-cone drill in 8.13 seconds. He measured 27-inch vertical jump, 8-foot-1 broad jump and completed 29 repetitions on the 225-bench press. He worked out in front of offensive line coaches from the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks. Second time the Jets (Callahan) has looked at Rackley. Callahan had a private workout with him last week. Jet's showing a lot of interest. I had Rackley in my Jet's mock before both visits. WW, if either of them were at our choice ( I'd guess 3rd round more then 4th) who would you like better to fill in at RT? If drafted by us, Pinkston or Rackley , I honestly believe they are extremely similar. Although I like the competition that Pinkston faced, his injuries and knee problems scare me so I'm a little back and forth.
As much as I like Rackley, I doubt he will be available in late rd 3 and we have more pressing needs to invest a 3rd Rd pick. Pinkston has a slightly larger frame and is more of a RT. I like Rackley's ceiling better, both should be solid NFL starters.
Really? I'm surprised at that, I really think he'd go from the middle to end of the third no question.( since there should be better talent falling to the top of the third) I wouldn't want to pick a RT at that spot anyway since we dont have a second but if we did or there was minimal value left there I'd take a chance and solidify the line no doubt.

From Manish Mehta According to Manish Mehta, the Jets are interested in a couple of other Temple players besides Muhammad Wilkerson...twins Eli and Elijah (Peanut) Joseph.
Baylor NT Phil Taylor scheduled to visit 8 teams, including #Jets, according to NFPost. He's very much on Jets' radar. Everybody's favorite
Anyone know if Westhoff was at Nebraska pro day? Can't help but like Alex Henery 90% career FG accuracy, with most misses coming from 50yd+. He was Nebraska's starting Punter last year as well, but didn't do Kickoffs. If his kickoffs reflect his strong leg, could make for a very good 6th round pick no one is talking about on this board.

Comment (0) | Share: | Source: The Star-Ledger – Jenny Vrentas -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A great player for Rex's system, just don't know if he will be availalbe in late rd 3. Maybe time to trade down for more picks.
definately been saying this for a while. we need more picks, because the best value in this draft is in the 2nd round and into the early 3rd. Jenkins is another guy I like simply for his versatility and would be great in Rex's system. Which is why I expect him to go early in the 3rd round.
Jarvis Jenkins is a monster and shows flashes of elite talent. great motor for his size too. the latest i see him lasting is the mid 2nd.
Say what...? I think he could be there mid 3rd... and it may be worth it to trade up 10 or so spots to grab him. Getting one between him and Ellis would be nice... but none should go in rd 2. One month before the draft it always seems like that's when the best value is available... but it's just because the media is hyping up so many players...
I don't really think so. Generally if you are paying attention you can make a solid determination about it for yourself. The last few years have seen a lot of good-great players coming from the second-third rounds. Its the best value, starters are found there without having to shell out significant $$$ in their rookie deals. Drafting well in the mid rounds is key to constantly having good depth ready now with the ability to start in a year or two.
