Terry Bradway was there, interestingly enough. I would assume Mark Carrier was there as well, but I don't have confirmation of that.
To be fair, Rex himself did attend Missouri's pro day. He won't be available when we pick, but he's certainly a player the Jets watched work out.
Being safe can get you as many busts as being risky. You can't always shy away and settle for just a solid player, you'd miss out on waaay too many great prospects that way.

^Excellent. He could be there in the 4th, especially if we're able to pick up an extra pick in a trade. He'd fit well into Rex's defense.
Wud Jaiquawn Jarrett play SS? Just wondering bc this kid can hit like a train...even if he didnt start his first year, he probably could be a stud at special teams
I understand that, I'm saying that I wouldn't like trading up for someone like that. If he falls to us, by all means pick him up.. but I don't know if I'd be happy seeing the Jets trade up 10-15 spots for Smith.
Jaiquawn Jarrett and Ahmad Black are my favorite safeties in this draft. So, I'm happy the Jets are taking a look at, Jarrett.
Jets running back coach Anthony Lynn checked out the Kentucky Pro Day to see versatile RB/WR Randall Cobb in person. (per PFT)
not for nothing, but this kid just seems to me like he could be Brad Smith 2.0. In that sense I mean he will be a jack of all trades, master of none at the next level. Which makes me think he will get overdrafted by some team trying to get their own Brad Smith (or us if we lose him to FA)
I have seen him projected as potentially a 2nd round pick which makes him unlikely to be available when we next pick.
Brad Smith never played WR full time in college, Cobb did. He's a poor man's Percy Harvin if anything...
I really like Cobb, he would be an excelllent addition to special teams. terrifiic punt returner. More of an all-purpose player, that would be used mainly as a receiver and could make some runs out of the backfield. It's great the Jets are looking at Cobb, but I just don't see us taking Cobb in rd 3, even if he was available. Defense has to be the first 2 picks.
Here's another link.....thanks JetsUK Jets | Worked out Randall Cobb Mon, 21 Mar 2011 10:57:33 -0700 New York Jets running back coach Anthony Lynn worked out University of Kentucky WR Randall Cobb at his Pro Day Thursday, March 10, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt.
