somewhat decent? you clearly didnt watch him play your concerns about him making one read and then reverting to what he knows best, his running, is valid because thats the offesnse he ran in college ... everything else youve said is hogwash
I've seen enough of him to know that he has poor vision as a passer. He's a tremendously gifted athlete, I understand that. 90% of what I've seen out of Newton is the same thing - Check #1 read, if he's open enough throw it, if he's not, start scrambling or take off upfield. Receivers don't get that open in the NFL, and he benefits from teams having to play up to defend against the option at Auburn. DL and LB in the NFL can make the plays that your average NCAA athlete can't against players like Newton. Call it hogwash but what it comes down to is a lot of people wanting this guy to be good because he's exciting to watch.
I'm not trying to nitpick, but shouldn't that read Qb's Wonderlics out? We need to make the OP take it.

A limited read offense?? OH MY GOODNESS, alert the media. It's almost like he's every college QB ever!!! BAN HIM FROM THE GAME!!!
