Fuck the most overrated quarterback prospect in a long time*** I'll take Kaepernick over everyone but Cam Newton.
I don't think Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush, Chris Ivory, Drew Brees, Mr Electric, or Sean Payton like that move either.
If Wilkerson had 17 Sacks over the past two years out of the DT position, who's to say he can't have more at DE? Its a projection, like projecting Martez Wilson to OLB and expecting more pass rush, or maybe you just want to criticize every pick I submit for some reason.
Ge wiz, what is it with you tonite, did you just come here determined to pick a fight? You have something nasty to say about every pick I made starting with the first one, so excuse me if it seems that way.
...uhh, I can. Martez Wilson was one of the best defensive ends in the country as a high schooler. He began his career at Illinois as a defensive end and later moved to linebacker. It's not the same at all. Wilkerson to the Bucs makes no sense. They drafted Brian Price and Gerald McCoy last season to help out their run defense. They need speed at end, not another big body. I think it's pretty fair to say that Wilkerson is not a 4-3 end.
Excuse me for being the only one pointing this out. The Blaine Gabbert pick made sense. The rest of them...not so much.
Honestly that's my least favorite pick tonite as well, I just didn't like much else and didn't want to take too much time, but I'm not crazy about that pick either. I like the player, but I could have filled a greater need.
I don't know why but NO extended Thomas 4 years. IMO (largely from Fantasy reasons) P Thomas is the most useless, injury prone back in the NFL. I would take a RB too. lol.
These next two picks are gunna be huge as too what the Jets end up with. This should be really interesting.
the only RB i see going in round 1 is ingram. I also believe he really only has 2-3 slots he could be taken, Miami and GB would be the two primary, and then maybe somebody else. So I think Leshore in round 1 is unlikely. Also as far as NO goes, they need help on the defensive side of the ball, that offense is pretty much set. Get them some added help in the secondary or possibly some strength on the DL, they don't need much, but they certainly shouldnt be thinking RB round 1.
I am predicting the Jets either end up with a top player/OLB still on the board or they are forced to reach for a guy, I have one such secondary player in mind, and one such DL player.
Saw a couple of people putting Mikel Leshoure to the Packers at pick 32. Makes sense with the uncertainty of Ryan Grant and their rather shitty rushing game. The Packers are a hard team to even come up with a positional need for. They're pretty well balanced everywhere so they'll probably go BPA. But I digress. There'll likely be one, and probably no more than 2 RBs in the first round. Then again, some teams get excited and decide they need playmakers. The first round is going to be all trenches: DL and OL.. also DEs turned OLBs
Well there are 2 LB's on the board who fit perfectly with what the Jets want to do. I previously thought NE might pick one of them to fill a needed position But since NE didnt pick one of them the Jets have who WW really wants.
If your thinking of the same secondary guy Im think he might be a strech at that pick. There is a glaring need at OLB and I think WW is happy that he'll end up with who he wants. Unless he shocks me.
