But have you moved this year? I moved 3 times as well before the season started lol but I was curious if anybody moved this year.
They are moving people if people upgrade. Also they are adding seats in the lower level in section 148 a row 46 as well as the section next to it. They are not sure if they are going to do it around the whole lower bowl or just those 2 sections. I just want to get all of my seats together yes I know 1 section and 13 rows arent far apart but just wish They could get closer like front to back or next to each other.
IF they installed rows 5-6-7...then they took down the railing in front of row 8. You need to be sure, for your purposes, that those seats have been installed. Although, I will say that if you like to lean forward to watch the game, the railing is not an issue.
Thanks CT. I am confident that 340 does not have handicap based on this detailed chart. You know more then the Jet rep, maybe you should get a new job there. Seriously, thanks a bunch http://www.newmeadowlandsstadium.com/images/your_stadium/seating/stadium-seating-chart.pdf
Congratulations...those are excellent seats. Did your rep give you seat #s ? (lower #s in 340 are toward the 50 yardline)... Where were your seats this year ..314 ??
Fellas, this is a MOST INTERESTING question and a very good reply by Grindhouse (Posts 11451 and 11453). Jerseyboy, the answer is,... you can't have both in this stadium. Cover is great when it rains, but for resale, you can't beat closer. You're going to have to take your pick. Of course (and I'm sure you've already figured this out), it didn't have to be that way. Take a look at my moniker. I used to have both. The 5th row in the mezz was close enough to the rail to see very well, yet the rain (even during a driving rain) never touched our seats. I have great memories of those seats... taking my kids, my cousins... many friends, etc. They were close to the field, yet under cover. Unfortunately, the new stadium designers had "Rectumitis," a severe and practically untreatable disorder which leaves the head and cranium area of the body permanently and incurably installed up the ass while growing up, resulting in piss-poor decisions during childhood and adolescence and even into adult career choices, particularly when it comes to architectural design. The results can be devastating, like being selected to design a football stadium in a major metropolitan area that requires some degree of modern creature comforts while enjoying a good view of the game. While this is, of course, quite possible because it's been accomplished in the past, having one's head firmly implanted up one's ass prohibits the designer from even envisioning same. If the owner is also afflicted, it can explain why he would approve such design flaws. Rectumitis is incurable and infectious. In advanced stages, it can bring about certain season ticketholders to embrace the flawed architectural designs as legitimate works of art, causing them to pay through the ass for the privilege of buying tickets to this monstrosity. In the end, having shelled out the ass for PSLs, they develop hardened, defensive tactics against those who rail for sanity, and all but a few wealthy endure the hardship of what lies ahead.
314, be advised that the Jets can install Handicap whenever they so choose! Just because it's not there now doesn't mean it won't be. Get the lowest seats you can get from these bastards.
I forgot to ask the seats #'s in my search for the rail answer. He said its between the 35/40 so if that's true, it must be in the low #'s. 227, I tried to get Upper Prime and he said that's not in the inventory right now. Remember, I need 6 tickets next to each other in any configuration so thats' making it harder. I just hope that's theirs no rail and if they add handicap at some point, the SOB's move me again. One of my friends that I go with is hesitant since I can't guarantee the rail even though I feel good about the info you guys posted. We tried like hell to get a tour and the Jet rep said call the NMS which we did and found out you have to pay $20 for individual tours on Sat. but no UD. Yeap, that's where we are, you have to pay if you want to get in the place... and people like me can't get a freakin straight answer for the company that owns 50% of this stadium. Can you imagine, this site and post is more informative then the people who do this for a business. I know, its not news but until you deal with them, you can't believe it. And my current seats are Sec 319, row 10 seats 1-3 and row 11 seats 1-3. And 17a, he put them on hold for me for one day.... nice one
I left the relocation of my seats to a good friend who damn well better not have us dealing with a railing in our face all season.
haven't verified it with my own eyes (railings down or not in front of row 8) but I heard it was so and have seen it posted here and at other places. Actually, I did make the climb up Mt Everest via the steps before one of the exhibition games and found my old section and saw no handicapped section (I think) but I might have become disoriented by the combination of heat exhaustion and oxygen deprivation and been one section away from my old section where there never was a handicapped area... so my posts about row 8 being good now have to be considered hearsay
Porkman is one of the boys sitting with me. He's on board, guess who's not Porkman. Gonna work him this morning and make the switch. If there is railing, there will be blood and it wont be from your pork loin
I had the rep agree to send me an e-mail stating the section 340 has row 5-7 as permanent seating which means the railing was removed. I went for it. For anyone looking to get lower, my old seats will be available. Sec 319, row 10 on the aisle (3) and Sec 319, row 11 on the aisle (3). Call Sean at 973-549-4591.

17A, should have been more specific, its seats 11-9 in both rows. There is only 11 seats in both. Thanks
So how many seats are you relocating? Still keeping six, but split up? Not sure if you remember but last year you took my advice having three behind three. Can't blame you for not liking the location. I'm in the same situation in 301. I guess you're paying more too. For uppers, it looks like you've done well.
