Like the others have said, he brings another dimension to the backfield with both his size and athleticism and could move on to TE full time. As much as they flanked out T-Rich the past year, I could see him assuming that role and actually being a legit target if they don't think Conner could.

    A faster James Casey IMO...

Read some background on the kid, he's being called a younger and maybe faster version of Mike Alstott.

Wouldnt mind having that on my team, if he's there in the 5th it wouldnt be a bad pick if value isnt there.

That's a good comparison. Dorin Dickerson is another guy that comes to mind.

My argument has been failing? How so?

We haven't drafted anyone but high character guys since Tanny has been here.

Sheard threw someone through a window- I don't think we're going to pick him.

Not to mention, his 10 yard split was equivalant to that of a backup left guard.

Just to prove you wrong: Joe McKnight is going to come to your house, ring your doorbell, and throw up in your face when you answer.

That's not even remotely true. We drafted David Harris and he was executed in 2004 for killing a man.

    High character, indeed!

The Texans were smart and didn't waste any time turning him into a WR. I guess it was an easy choice with how many TEs they carry.

Jeremy Beal falling to us late in the draft would be awesome. He's a prospect that really hurt himself at the combine.

Robert Sands ran well, but drills hurt him. He'd be a nice pick up if he lasts long enough.

Peterson is murdering this combine everywhere. I think he's basically locked himself at #2 to the Broncos unless they want to take a CB later on.

    The kids a freak.

They just re-signed Champ Bailey to a four year deal.

I think they'll go after a defensive lineman early - maybe Dareus over Fairley/Bowers.

There's rumors that Dallas covets Peterson, so they might try to jump up and take him - it'll be interesting to see how things go down.

What Im thinking is that with Carolina most likely picking Bowers #1 overall , Peterson is just the next best player. Fairley and Dareus are great DT's for the Broncos new 4-3 Defense, but Im just not sure you go DT that early unless its a guy like Suh which we both no they both are not, having a CB duo of Peterson and Bailey with the pressure Dummervil and Ayers should bring off the edges could make the Broncos a very solid defensive team.

I think later on they could draft a kid like Jarvis Jenkins, Paea ( If he falls out of the first), or Ballard in the Second to get a solid 4-3 DT that can come in and play. Remember they still have Jammal Williams at DT so adding youth along with playing on that line would be solid for them.

So where is Jimmy Smith's stock right now?

He owned the physical parts of the combine, but I hear he bombed the interviews.
