As we migrate into the defensive secondary, it’s time to hand out the non-hardware hardware for the best cornerback in the NFL from the 2010 season. The finalists for the Darrell Green Award are Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, Patriots cornerback Devin McCourty, Packers cornerback Tramon Williams, Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel, and Packers cornerback Charles Woodson. Cast your votes below. The outcome isn’t binding, but we give it plenty of credence. Especially when we agree with it. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/14/the-finalists-for-the-darrell-green-award/
Yeah, I agree with WSW here, the last thing we need from Revis us some award-inspired holdout. I feel like he is the kind of guy that lets things like this get to his head. His holdout effected his play this year, he had as was stated above, half of an awesome year.
no the awards make his agents and uncle hold him out for a better contract. Revis has been the same dude.
Revis took too many games off to pull down a seasonal award for CB off the year. He might be the best CB in the league but doesn't deserve this award more than the other top CB who showed up every game this season.
People starting to sleep on revis, he's gonna hold shit down next season again watch... Then demand a new 100 million dollar contract.
The reason Revis felt he deserved money was because fans voted him into the pro bowl and praised him on message boards, not because of his top 1-2 CB season in NFL history.
