Herzlich is a safety at the next level.

    In the UFL.

    Every year they come around.

Some of them are harmlessly funny. Others just don't ever get it, like The GM.

Don't forget Stanford. No solid OLB prospects this year (Keiser should have stayed another year), but I'd love to see Shayne Skov as a Jet in 2012 or 2013. He's a beast at ILB.

Mayock has Fresno's Chris Carter as his fifth overall outside linebacker. I think he's a little too light to play in the Jets' scheme though.

He's the type of guy the Eagles would draft.

I think Graham and Cole are good enough for the Eagles to pass on defensive ends this year.

I could see Kansas City or San Diego taking Carter.

Mr. Electric, knowing you are a big south Carolina guy, what's your opinion on cliff Matthews (in regards to fitting in with our team at olb).

Before the season he was a guy i was intrigued by but after watching him some this year, I'm unsure now.

Cliff's just inconsistent. He's got ideal size for Ryan's scheme, but I'm not sure he'd be much of an upgrade over Bryan Thomas.

Matthews is a very good run defender, but I think he'll continue to struggle getting after the passer.

He's got tons of experience at outside linebacker and that should help him out.

A lot of scouts are talking about his great motor - I guess you could say that about him, but there were times during games where it seemed he didn't care at all. It was like he had no idea he was in the middle of a football game.

With no TGG or NFL yeseterday I found myself watching youtube clips of some of the potential 3-4 olb's. The only one that really stood out to me was Houston. I absolutely love his speed off the edge. Sheard seems like more of a DE to me than an OLB, but he doesn't really have the weight for that.

What are the chances Houston falls to us?

Actually pretty good (atm, the combine might change things)... there are sooo many prospects this year between 4-3 and 3-4 DEs and OLBs... someone good is bound to fall to us. Great year to pick at #30.

I've rarely seen him crack the 25 mark.

If the draft started tomorrow he'd be at 30.

My biggest fear - teams get to know him, learn that his work ethic is very good (which it is), and then he puts up great numbers at the combine, and then the Pats grab him at 28
