I definitely fall into the age group that has gained more respect for him. I hope I never get so old and lame that I find this offensive in any way.

 

There are some reasonable compensations. Money, celebrity etc.

Do people remember when Namath almost quit football because the commissioner didn't like Namath's part ownership in a nightclub (Brothers 3 or something)? He said it would put him in close contact with potential crime figures. In the end he sold his nightclub. So even Namath.

I think people used to look the other way with celebrities and their antics but now it's an open game. I have no problem with a young QB like Sanchez having a great time, who wouldn't. I just think it's easier to screw up these days.

If Sanchez has a thing for teenage girls < of age > .. I personally think it a bit icky... but I was once 17 and loved it if an older guy admired or tried to hit on me. In my 17 year old mind it made me think I was all growed up. So I get it.

I don't really know what a 24 y/o guys sees in a 17 y/o, cept sex, and that's OK too.

Interesting given that the Deadspin story has her stating that she told Sanchez she was 17 point blank. Either way, don't care.
