I cannot think of a better QB than Brees for Sanchez to work with. Brees has made a career out of moving in the pocket to open his throwing lanes. The biggest problem Sanchez has had to deal with thus far is his passes getting tipped at the line and there is no one out there with more talent and experience in making sure that does not happen.

Brees is also an amazingly accurate QB. Hopefully Sanchez can learn something from Brees in this aspect as well.

And, of course, Brunell should be with him all offseason. Sanchez has made great strides in both his leadership ability and his general playing ability thanks to Brunell. I was one of the posters knocking this move in the beginning but Brunell has proven me wrong in every aspect.

But I don't think Sanchez would have enough time to join his 17 year old friend for some bedtime.

Agreed... great idea! I love how Sanchez is always so ready and eager to put in the work to improve himself.

I was wondering when this was going to happen given that Schotty is best friends with Brees. I am fairly certain that is a primary reason why Brunell was here this year.

Mark - Work on touch on the short passes and getting the ball over the O-Line. Although he has gotten better, ball security should always be emphasized as well.

Have fun also Mark, all work and no play will, well ya know. It is the off-season.

    Why can't Henne do this...

What can Brunnel teach? How to throw lame ducks?

i know alot of us would kill for Pennington to be Sanchez's back up. Stunned Henne blows so bad, and has Pennington there.

Not this guy. I don't want Sanchez getting a pussified mentality from Penny. Keep taking shots downfield Nacho.

    Brunell can still sling it.

    Penny throws like a girl.

If Penny had the arm, I'm sure he would have taken his shots as well. I still think Pennington would be a great tutor for Mark.

As cerebral as he is, Brees is a fucking winner.

Brees over Penny every single time.

combine that with the fact that Brees is essentially the same height as Mark. So not only can Brees teach Mark some intangibles he can also teach him the tips and tricks Brees has learned and how he has managed to overcome his shortcomings.

I will agree with the working out part with Brees. Much to be learned there. As for a backup QB, I'm still in Chad's corner. And yes, over Brunell.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but it's very clear to me that this is a nefarious plot to take control Mark's mind to benefit the Saints, and the eventual communist takeover of the USA.

Can only hope so. Although if he does kill someone, hopefully he's drunk and does it with his car. The going rate for that seems to be a season or so.

But don't ever run a dog fighting ring. That's unforgivable.

Anyways, this is a good thing. Brees can hopefully show him how to identify throwing lanes a bit better to avoid bat downs.

This just further confirms Sanchez' commitment to being a franchise QB. Glad he's around.

Really? Because I want a Super Bowl.. I want that feeling, knowing that my team is the best, and I want all the haters and the critics to eat a dick, and shut the fuck up..

I want to cry in happiness, not sadness, like I have been for the last 20 years of my life.

But yea, I think it's a great idea.
