The Packers have looked good so far. Their defense has been dominating. This should be a tough test for them as the Bears have been playing pretty good too.
Packers and Bears always have great meetings. I went to a matchup once. I'm guessing Green Bay wins by about 13 monday.
I think Clay Matthews is on the juice. His best buddy Brian got nabbed, and you know what they say about the drugs, parents: the easiest way to tell if your kid uses drugs is to see if his friends use drugs. That dude just looks too bulky to me. Maybe I'm just flashing back to Shawn Merriman's second year. For some reason, I get especially upset about pass rushers who use steroids. If it's a safety or a guard or a defensive tackle, I'm not as upset. I think that's because "pass rusher" is one of the most important roles on the team. It's akin to a quarterback cheating. Or maybe it's because I don't think it's fair for a man who's job it is to hit an unsuspecting quarterback to grow beyond the boundaries of nature. Dunno. That Matthews is on the juice, though.
There is 1 thing keeping them from the SB imo, their oline is GARBAGE. Rodgers is running for his life on every other play, against a team with half a pass rush I think they'll have trouble.
You know, I thought the same thing, but just based on the fact that he has exploded out of being just a solid LB to being on pace for 48 sacks this year. I have no other reasons really. He does looked bulked up.
I still stand by my previous statement.... PACKERS are OVERRATED Green Bay Offense Ranks: Rush- 20 Pass- 8 Total- 11 PPG- 23.9 Total Yards- 350.0 Pass- 250.7 Rush- 99.3 Green Bay Defense Ranks: Rush- 23 Pass- 14 Total- 18 Pts Allowed-19.4 Total Yds 338.4 Rush- 124.3 Pass- 214.1 Middle of the Pack Offense Middle of the Pack Defense
How many Starters are on IR? 2 I believe, Barnett & Grant, the rest are backups...and OTN, IMO, they were overrated even before the injuries... Last years schedule had 2-3 tough games and the rest was a cakewalk.
Those are 2 big players out PLUS one of the best TEs in the game in jermichael Finley and Al Harris, Atari Bigby, they just got Clay Matthews back, ...
I hardly doubt anyone still thinks they are going to the Super Bowl, so they aren't overrated, they are just your ordinary 4-3 team.
If the Packers were healthy they'd probably have no losses or only one. The team has been DECIMATED with injuries and still is a very underrated team by record. With the way the division is looking, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pack win the division at 10-6 and still make it. The NFC is pathetic.
good time for a bump of another soxxx gem. while you could make plenty of arguments why the Pack may not have won it to begin the season, there was no way it was unreasonable to believe they would. well done soxxx.
I love that all those people talked shit about how overrated the Packers were...ha Not only was that all BS but the Pack would have been even better without all those injuries..
