the bears better not screw us over at 29, not using head to head for tiebreakers is bullshit. even the fact they won the DIVISION and Jets didnt should be another tie breaker too
Unlikely. Someone else may screw us, but the Bears run a 4-3/Tampa 2 and are pretty unlikely to take a player who would fit our system well. Of course, there was Gilbert... Either way, their biggest needs are on the OL.
yeah i was kinda pissed about that, effing dolphins. i consider it "poetic justice" though that they lost him for the season from the teams standpoint.
Why do we have the 30th pick and Chicago has the 29th pick? We both lost in the conf title game but Chi beat us in the reg season and was a 2 seed in their conf while we were a 6 seed.
That is asinine since they beat us and they were a 2 seed while we were a 6 seed. it figures once we started making title games they changed the rules. beofre last year if we had made it was based on reg season record.
He's got character issues, no way we draft him!!! ohh the irony, remember when we just knew the Jets wouldnt get someone because of Mangini. All hell would break lose between Rex and Sheard for the last pretzel m&m. Sheard would probably throw Rex through a fucking brick wall lol
He's walked over tougher guys than Channing Crowder (not sayin much that fuckin pansy ass queer fuck) to get to a fight...Rex aint no joke.
I know I'm right in saying it's #30. NFLN had the jets at 29 on the crawl. Unless we've been wrong this whole time? I think they fucked up... Right?
Every other place I have seen it has said 30 but we should be 29 since Chi beat us in the reg season and they were a 2 seed while we were a 6 seed.
If we were battling for a playoff spot head to head would be looked at first so why isn't it in this case?
The rules are different for divisional races and playoff seeding than they are for the draft. I agree, it's screwed up, but it's still the rule. EDIT: Not in the CBA, but I'll find you evidence of the rule nonetheless. FTR, the Bills beat the Bengals, but have a better draft pick at #3 with the same record.
