I've realized that no matter what the roster is, who the coach is, what kind of homefield advantage you hold, etc.. nothing matters more than an elite franchise QB. Packers - decimated with injuries: Aaron Rodgers leads the pack to SB Patriots - also have injury issues, along with a very young team - Brady leads them to 14-2 Colts - injuries yet again, Peyton manning leads them to a division title yet again Steelers - depleted secondary and terrible offensive line: Roethlisberger is in the superbowl and on a lesser note, Buccaneers - find a franchise QB in Josh Freeman : turn around a team that was horrid last year Chiefs - Cassel shows he has the skills to be elite: turns the Chiefs into a contender (division winner as well)

If you have Tom Brady playing a coach should not get shit. His defense sucked balls, this is a complete joke. Should've been Tomlin or McCarthy IMO. Not because they're in the SB but what they had to deal with. Steelers opening the year without Rapesgirlsburgers and the parade of QBs that played in that time. It's a regular season award. Rex's coaching job in the regular season was not the best in the NFL. It wasn't even close. The Jets didn't win their division and were the #6 seed in the playoffs.
