When your starters are Aaron Beasley and Sam Garnes, your secondary is in trouble.

Favre is an excellent choice for this category.

We didn't have much choice due to Bp leaving us w/ a bad cap situation and having to let Aaron Glenn and Marcus Coleman go and we did win only our 2nd ever AFC East Title(and last) w/ those guys starting.

Not sure if anyone mentioned him but Machine-Gun Funk Damien Robinson was pretty much a useless lump of shit

So, what kicker did we sign that was so bad, we had to keep a kickoff specialist for him, and his most famous moment as a Jet was bitch slapping a ballboy?

    Cakes should get this easy.

Yeah, but at least it was a Patriots ballboy that he slapped.

    ____

I'll let somebody else name the kicker and the kickoff specialist.

Jay Feidler...mainly b/c he got injured and was a Phin.
Lito Shepherd was a trade, but he was one of my most recent hated Jets.
Nick Folk just looks like someone I'd try and fight...

The sad part about that was he was signed not only to be a kicker but to be a leader. That gives us a small clue as to why we were a laughingstock in the league at that time.

Neil O'Donnell. I remember laughing at how badly he looked on his SB interceptions then he signed w/ the Jets at 5 million/yr. Afterwards, I've never laughed at players on other teams no matter how much they suck.

    edit:
From this thread, I started googling Neil O'Donnel & came up w/ link below. Figured it might make some ppl feel better to know of some other busts (of course Neil is included in the top 10).

    Good thread

I'm enjoying reading through this thread more than I thought I would since I'd forgotten a lot of these stiffs ; )

I'm between Damien Robinson and Dexter Carter.....

I'll go with Dexter Carter. He seemed to fumble every other return and did NOTHING for us after being great in SF. It was so bad, that each time he was in for a kick return, my brothers and I would recreate the Michael Buffer boxing intro...
