I hope they really don't let braylon of holmes go, I just bought their jerseys!!! Besides with T.Os attitude and being the ball hog as he is, I don't think sanchez should have that stress on his shoulders. But hey, that's just my opinion. Chad probably wouldn't be bad if something did happen to holmes or edwards but I would use him as a last resort.

If we were to lose Edwards AND Holmes, then I would consider this an option. But till that happens then no.

First off, they don't come in a package deal. Signing/Trading for one does not mean the Jets will get the other. If we can't sign either Holmes or Edwards, I wouldn't mind getting Chad85.

    But fuck no to Owens

3 yards & a cloud of dust is better than having these 2 clowns around.

At this point in their careers, chad would probably produce more, but I wouldn't want either.

Can you imagine 85 in the NY market? can you imaging the amount of antics that he would pull in the end zone and his clowing with Revis? Would be pure comedy.

Tell them to immediately ring up Tomlin since he coaches a team that has a winning tradition & he already has won 2 SBs. Make sure to remind them we have won NOTHING in 42 tears & Rex has won nothing as a HC up to now :jets:

Chad would not be a terrible addition at the right price. But thats only if we lose one of Holmes or Edwards.

i thought the board went over this in a 3page thread? fuck no. i would consider Ocho, if we lose one of the free agent WR's.

But still rather not have Ocho.

If we do lose one of Holmes or Edwards, I wouldn't mind signing Chad to a 1 or 2 year contract, relatively cheap. The guy already has enough money for life and all he wants now is a monster rock to go on his finger. I think he could be signed cheap, but only if we lose Holmes or Edwards -- which I hope we don't.

PT Barnum made a fortune signing all sorts goofballs, fatties, trannies, shorties, hairies, and other such misfits for his offense. But that's only because people wanted to see a freak show. As much as Rex might like to smell feet in his personal time, the Jets aren't a freak show, and certainly don't need new freaks. I'd suggest Oakland.

Not interested in either T.O. or Chad Johnson (Revis shut him down, therefore he is Chad Johnson) on their own. I wouldn't mind the Jets getting Chad if they lost Braylon or Holmes (which seems likely), though I think they'd be better off finding someone younger.
Chad is much prefered to T.O. Chad Johnson is just a guy who likes to talk smack and show off and do end-zone and side-line shenanigans. No offense to the Commissioner, but Chad Johnson is harmless.
T.O. on the other hand is to NFL locker rooms as the bubonic plague is to health.
