LOL, I know you jest, but I know of at least one 32 year old guy who beleives this. It was his house I sodded that day, and he tried to help. After moving only about 20 rolls from the driveway to the backyard he was done. He went inside and told his wife I must have the strongest back in the world.

They turned the spotlights on in the backyard for me and I finished up around 9:30pm, having started at 10am when the sod arrived. This guy wasn't some out of shape fat guy, he was playing 2B on a baseball team, regular baseball, not softball. Might have been semi-pro based on his uniform. I never saw any amatuer leagues with uniforms like the one he wore. Custom fitted, all that stuff.

That was summer of '09. I was 54. My point was, if you work your back enough, even people with severe back problems can find 100% relief. I was in agony every day until I got my back into shape. Now it never bothers me.

city plowed me in good last night, probably two and a half feet high and two feet deep of the crusty crunchy shit. Moved it all out when I got home, then got the easy stuff on the driveway out of the way, and the exact second I'm done, my wife whos's been gone for a couple of days, pulls right in and asks me why dinner isn't ready. Yeah, I know, if anyone sees my balls lying around, shoot me a PM, I'd like them back.

Oh, no she's a great cook. Its just that she was coming home late after a couple of days on the road and expected a hot meal waiting for her. Which I'd have been happy to provide, I gotta eat myself, but for the fact that I'd been humping snow from 5 to 8pm.

Try living in the DC area when it snows. Left my office Wednesday at 3:30 and got home at 10:00 - 15 miles. And no power at my house for 18 hours.

My son is supposed to leave on a school trip (by bus) to Florida at 3:00. Hope he makes it. School has been closed the last three days.

Oh, and my arms hurt from shoveling. Getting too old for this.

I imagine living in places where massive amounts of snowfall are not the norm would suck.

I cannot stand driving behind people who forget how to drive as soon as the first snowflake falls.

Here's muthafucka for you: everything's all cleaned up, driveway's clear, roads are down to bare concrete; so apparently this was a real good time for the town to send the plows back out to widen all the roads and dump another new heap at the end of everyone's driveway. Dicks.

OK.... how much you gonna pay? These bassads do it on purpose, I've even heard a few of them talk about how funny they think it all is. Streets are clear, driveways open, and they come back a day later just to get more OT. And they laugh about plowing people back in. Public servants they are...NOT.

And... btw, if you are plow boy senitive, why didn't you call out SundayJack for calling them Dicks? poor plow boy....

    Lol. I was fucking around.

In all seriousness though, plow guys are just doing their jobs.

What do you expect them to do?

Should they wait until all the homeowners dig out before plowing? How will they push all the snow?

Think about it, there really is no option.
