The first time I saw that dance I could hardly catch my breath from laughter.
It's actually MUCH funnier when you've seen the entire (and previous) episode(s) and can appreciate the context.

As much as I enjoy the newer US version, I give the edge to the UK The Office. As I think I've posted before, Ricky Gervais' boss is my favorite character in TV history.

Although I've had the BBC dvd for awhile now, I always make a point to watch The Office on Adult Swim on Friday nights. One of the best shows I've ever watched, I've seen every episode at least 3 times. I give the American "Office" a lot of credit. Considering where it originated it's a great show that could very easily sucked.
For all the Creed comments, agree immensely. The guy is awesome. I think keeping his lines to a minimum is what makes his lines so classic, though.

David Brent might be the most insufferable character ever.

I also have the BBC DVDs.
My wife and I probably watch every episode at least twice a year.

I think the US version is awesome also. I was skeptical after the pilot episode (which was basically a shot-for-shot remake of the British pilot). That was easily the worst episode ever.
Since then it's become probably the funniest show on TV, along with 30 Rock.

It's kinda funny that Julie actually liked the real Michael. Few people do.

I liked this from the Christmas episode.

Michael: If this were Russia, yeah sure. Everyone would go to one Santa, and there would be a line around the block and once you sat on her lap and she'd ask you what you wanted, you would say probably "freedom." At which point the KGB would arrest you and send you to Siberia. It's a good thing Russia doesn't exist anymore.

Also, the Japanese guy Darryl invited to the bar was pretty funny. Having him deliver a monologue was a good way to close the last episode.

Creed continues to be incredibly hilarious! I loved in last week's episode when Darrell has him scare Andy. And when they interview Creed, he says, "So Darnell pays me $3 to make this sign in front of Andy. But Darnell's a chump. I would've done it for nothing. I've done a lot more for a lot less." I love how he can't remember anyone's name. Looking forward to tonight's episode!

yeah, that's part of the Creed persona. I think he's always called him Darnell.

Read that in tonight's episode they have Dwight buying the building that houses the DM offices. Should be a good finale.

I'm hoping that's what they are hinting off to. Won't be as good as Michael on the american office, but he's the next best thing.

I personally think if Michael leaves the show, it should end. David Brent is one of the best characters of the last 15 years, but I don't think it would work here.
A lot of the newer characters like the new receptionist, Kelly, and Gabe suck, plain and simple. The show is still funny, but Michael is the glue that keeps the show together. How long can a doc. crew follow an office around, anyway?

30 Rock, btw, was awesome tonight.
