Even reading this thread feels like a waste of time now, I don't get how any Jet fan who's not a Yankee fan can listen to him and if you want Yankee stuff just go over to Kay regardless. I'm basically done with him at this point, pretty much the only time I'll listen to him is when he goes to Mets spring training or maybe for the Subway Series but even then he'll probably find a way to take a shot at the Jets. Of course I can't stand Kay either so I basically have to embargo sports radio from 3 PM on.
Back to the contest... 3 Colts QBs starting Superbowl...Manning,Unitas...The 3rd is Morral. Guy missed it on his 2nd one.
Haven't even turned anything on today, why bother especially with this guy. After I caught 3 minutes of NBC yesterday I already knew what this week was gonna be like. Boomer (who was actually crying in the postgame on CBS) BT and Beningo ... if you want your Jets Even as a Yankee fan, I can't stand the guy, cause you know he's gonna do this whole thing with the Mets fans this summer and the only way they guy would be miserable is if the Yankees stink it up, can't wish harm on the Yankees. The problem is I can't stand Kay either
i grew up a yanks fan but ive gotten so sick of baseball and douche bag yank fans like fatty that i wouldnt care if they sucked
its outdated. its just not relevant anymore, the season is far far too long. if it were up to me id have it all over by september 1st when college football begins and the NFL is getting ready to start, the game hasnt evolved, they refuse to accept instant replay. I just cant get fired up for a late august game against the orioles. most games are like watching pain dry. I watch more tennis now in the summer than baseball
All valid points there. I don't like the way the game is played anymore specifically the way pitchers are handled. I liked the game much better in the 1980s when numerous starting pitchers would complete at least 10 games a year.
A caller just asked Mike. "Mike trivia question for you, what's the word you most use on your show." Mike - "On the FAN" Caller - "No...waitaseckant waitaseckant."
Tony Dungy & Bud Grant- two SB coaches who played college football at Minnesota interesting factoid- Grant caught passes for 997 yards in his final NFL season
