I don't hate steelers, maybe I hate Ben but the team is an example for other teams. Something very hard has to happens for change my hattest team, the patriots. Of course yesterday i hated them, and i hope packers wins, but this felleing will only remains two weeks.
Have nothing against the Steelers. Like their coach & their organization. I do hate Big Ben & it is very annoying how the general public equates wins with moral character. If this SB had Vick vs. Ben, it would be two weeks of non-stop crap on how two men have overcome adversity to have great spirit & all kinds of other nonsense. === What's most frustrating is that the Jets stunk up the joint in the first half. Why couldnt' they show up for 4 quarters in what's supposed to be a big game?? Jets have gotten off to bad starts so many times but this time they faced a team which was too good to let them complete the comeback.
Never really hated the Steelers, still don't. Just sick of how much they win and why they couldn't let us have just one. I am rooting for GB in the Super Bowl though.
The two most heartbreaking losses in the last decade have been at the hands of the Steelers IMO. 2004 divisional round and this game. The hatred is certainly there...
I hate them more than the Pats. Although I'm in Scotland and having to watch on Sky, where one of the main presenters is a big Steelers fan. I hope Green Bay destroy them in the Super Bowl just to see the look on Nick Hallings face.
NONE...you HAVE to make the plays to WIN & the SOJ didn't do it, PERIOD...jealousy/envy will get you nowhere.
Agree. Don't really hate them. Sucks that they're always in in. They are a very good team but, the way these sports analysts drool over them is sickening. NFL Network practically had a documentary touting Polamalu's prowess and he was a non factor. Then again it would be superb to beat these mothers, we will, maybe next year.
This is exactly how I feel. The Steelers did their jobs better than the Jets did. Their QB appears to be a creep but I'm sure the league is riddled with human garbage like that. The dude made plays and the Jets didn't make enough. Simple. I hope the Jets learned something. I'm not hating.
SOJ would have lost 37-3 or 37-10. This team impressed me with its fight. Many aspects of this game hurt me. But this isn't the SOJ.
Hate the Pats more, but I am hating announcers suck at nut sack of Ben...the guy was awful - 0TDs, 2 INTs, 30 QB rating...yet all I hear is how great he is. They won in spite of him yesterday ... the Jets tackling was more critical in that game than the ability of Ben. Shit the awful kickoff coverage with 3 minutes to go is what allowed the Steelers to throw the ball on 3rd and 6. You think if they had the ball on their own 35 yard line they throw there and risk a clock stoppage and punt that might only get to the 40??? What was the big risk on that throw? Hell they were in Jets territory and if that pass is incomplete you punt and pin the Jets back with 1:30 to play, no timeouts, and 90 yards to cover.
I just don't get this post. Why hate the team just because they beat you? Hate the other team on game day from the first tick of the clock to the last tick of the clock but beyond that...........you're just a hater.
Not a division rival. I don't find their fanbase particularly obnoxious. Nor their players or the organization. So no, I don't hate the Steelers.
I like the old school steelers...70's style....but I don't like Harrison - dirty as shit and Big Ben sexually assaults women....just because charges aren't filed doesn't mean the guy is someone you want showing up at your door to pick up your daughter for a date.
I hate Pittsburgh sports teams in general, due to the penguins mainly. I don't dislike the team per se, but the fanbase. Where as I just don't like Brady or BB. (D-bags)
I was just watching the replays of the game and the post game interviews and I noticed that the Steelers never gave any credit to the Jets, none of them, Tomlin or rapelisberger, so I guess there is a little hatred there but not much more than the Cheatriots.
