Rex seemed to hint at it in his postgame conference.

Do we need it to finally win the AFC?

It would be nice to play at home for once in the playoffs. Would have been nice if the Jets weren't "asleep at the wheel" to the likes of Miami and Green Bay at home during the regular season.

This is a must. THe odds of making the AFC championship for the 3rd straight year having to win three straight on the road are astronomical.

An AFC championship @ New Meadowlands would be incredible. Jets would never put up a first half stinker at home like they did tonight.

Remember GB and Colts games in 2002. Fan support would be off the chart

yeah but winning three games on the road is a tall tall task... we need some home games... if we had the crowd behind us tonight do u really think we let the first half get as out of control as it did.

Yes. They cant keep expecting to beat great teams on the road. The goal should be 16-0 next year. You cant throw away games, and lose homefield throughout based on a few bad games.

Jets seem to be better focused on the road. First round byes can be good for some teams and not for others. History has shown that 6 seeds tend to be geared pretty well for extensive playoff runs. Nothing wrong with going for HFA, but look how far it got NE and ATL this year.

Bottom line is execution and seizing the moment if you are in a playoff game whether its road or home, you never know when you get that opportunity again in life. Regretting not getting home field shouldn't be taking hours off your life, the crowd noise had little to do with the outcome of this game.

the nxt step is winning the afc east and getting home field through the playoffs, winning the AFCCG and winning the SB.

Yes it is. Look at the teams they had to play just to reach the SB. A 1 or 2 seed could push this team over the top. It's a lot easier to win 3 games than 4 in the playoffs.

The Jets play like shit at home when the crowd is not into it. They will be for the playoffs.

We suck after bye weeks. But, we sure as hell have got to get home field advantage with our fans behind us and needing only two games to get to the Superbowl.
