Yeah that playcalling at the goalline was atrocious. Passes on 2nd AND 3rd down from the one against the Steelers' D when you'd had a fair amound of success running the ball in the second half? Then you get stuck with running it on 4th when everyone knows you have to cause you passed on second and third down.
I wish Sanchez would have just called his own play when they were standing around with their dicks in their hands on that 2nd down play. We probably would have scored already.
Schotty must go - he called plays in the 4th quarter with little to no regard for the clock. We will not go to the next level until he is gone.
They made it to the AFCCG 2 straight years in spite of Shittys playcalling.. imagine what this team would be like with a real OC
I know I'm in the minority, but it's really ridiculous how Schotty gets all of the blame and none of the credit, every time without fail. I think if Rex told them to go to the hurry up they would've, that isn't the OC's unilateral decision. Moreover, the notion that us not getting the TD is Schotty's fault is ridiculous. We didn't score because the offensive line didn't come through, and because Sanchez's throw to Keller was a little off. Moreover, we got our asses kicked 24-0 for 14 minutes, and if you want to blame one member of the coaching staff that's fine, but I choose to distribute the blame there a little more equally. I've said before that people like blaming Schottenheimer because it allows them to focus their anger on something replaceable. You can just fire an offensive coordinator, but you can't just make players magically better. Our offense wasn't good today because they didn't play well. It's not much more complicated than that.
Yeah, either our offensive coordinator is fine, or he's magically good when we win and bad when we lose. That's totally the more likely of the two scenarios.
As always, whenever schotty starts to look like a good offensive coordinator he calls an awful set of downs like that. It was 2nd and a yard at the goal line. Run it 3 fucjin times
Who would make this thread in the first place? Know the game. This clown was bad all year and was worst when it mattered most. The guys all had heart and Schottenheimer the clown sent us home early. Funny cause from the onset of my time coming here I heard people calling him "Pussy Schotty". Thats exactly what he is.
