Peter King is an admitted Patriots homer. He's also the one that predicted Danny Wuerfuel would have 4000 yards in a season. The guy doesn't know that much football, just good relationships with the powers that be.
Revis: If someone left Revis out because they felt he missed to many games then I'd disagree but at least understand their position. However, to say his onfield performance wasn't good enough is nonsense. Mangold: It's unbelievable how nobody thinks the first Jets victory over Pats this season meant something. I'm beginning to think most people around the league viewed it as some kind of preseason game. -> Alex Mack, Cleveland. Doubt this? Watch the job Mack did on Vince Wilfork in the Browns' beatdown of the Patriots. Was Alex Mack the only Center to stand up to Wilfork ... How about that other team that beat the Pats??? === Anyway ... fuck' em. SB ring is worth more than accolades from these clowns.
Currently, I'm wondering when D'Brick is going to get some love from the all-pros. IMO he's played at that level and played at a higher level than Jake Long and Thomas but it seems like those two guys get all the attention and praise right after their rookie seasons.
Honestly, he's gonna have to shutdown Harrison Sunday, we then have to win. Then he needs to shutout the Packers or Bears rush as well, which he already has done this year. D'Brick is flying under their radar for some weird reason.
I just posted this in another thread but to have Peter King removed from voting send emails here- Barry Wilner, AP NFL guru: bwilner@ap.org
McCourty > Revis is a joke. I guess he wanted to throw the Pats a bone, after the Jets went up there and beat the shit out of his beloved Pats.
His votes were done before the playoffs or at least were supposed to be. I wish all the All-Pro teams were released before the Wild Card games, but the writers hold off on them for various reasons. The week leading up to the Wild Card games have a lot of activity with coaches getting fired and others getting hired, end of season wrap-ups, and Wild Card previews. I guess they hold off on All-Pro and awards stuff until we get to the Divisional Round and Championship Games because there is less stuff going on around the league.
Guys, you have to put on your Decoder rings in order to read this. It basically says: "We are still so So butthurt our Pats lost and we are still bleeding from deep inside our anus w/ how bad we got raped. This is how we as Pats fanboiz in the media can voice our absolute bias so take that JETS"
if - as the writer is saying - the jets haven't any 'all pros', then i would think it's a no-brainer that mr ryan is coach of the year.
No Revis! No Mangold! No Brick! No Harris! No Gholston! So what we know who our all Pros are and thats all that matters!
Seubert won it because of his versatility. Seriously? If versatility was so crucial Brad Smith should have won NFL MVP.
