Man, I'm surprised no one has photoshopped an image of Bart Scott with the phrase "CAN'T WAIT" on it yet.
Also means half the Jets Fan Base might be in Cardiac Arrest when he does his best Doug Brien impersonation missing his 1st two
I guess I can stop cursing out my boss for not letting me have Monday off to fly with my bff (Steelers fan) to Pitt. That's WAY too freakin' cold!!
I had never heard the '75 AFC title game referred to as the Ice Bowl until I saw that article posted here.
This is the only thing that worries me. Not that Sanchez sucks in cold weather, but that Roethlisberger gains an edge the more adverse the conditions become. Supposedly he throes better with the gloves on.
It's what i'm counting on. Also they're calling for 20-30MPH winds at game time. FG's will be at a premium......
Where did you see that? One site says 13mph gusts and the other says winds 6-8 mph. http://www.accuweather.com/us/pa/pittsburgh/15222/forecast-details.asp?fday=3 http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClic...BZ&textField1=40.4392&textField2=-79.9767&e=0
Now here's Brick with the weather... I wouldn't count on that much wind. Right now the forecast is for 10 mph winds during the day, 5 mph in the evening. No one knows with this city. It was cold here today, but it wasn't really bad without some occasional 15-20 mph gusts in the early part of the day. I walked home from the office around 8 tonight and it was hardly intolerable. There's still 3-4 inches of snow on the ground, and we're supposed to get some accumulation over Saturday night. I hope they get the field and the seats cleared by game time if the snowfall is heavy. At game time, I think we're still looking at somewhere around 15 degrees and the wind chill (5-10 mph) could put it in the single digits. :steelers::steelers::steelers::steelers: Pittsburgh delenda est.
\ Thats nonsense. From the NWS: Sunday: A slight chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 18. Wind chill values as low as -3. Northwest wind between 8 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 5. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph. Wind will be no factor in this game...cold..oh yeah.
