This is a bit disturbing for Jets and Steelers fans, add the fact last week he said we had "no chance". I wonder mental hospital he escaped from? anyway... http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/backpage/cowher_says_jets_will_beat_former_y2xbiQMi2LCUQsGaPOX1bO
Bullshit, Keep an extra Lineman in ...go Max protect and light up the fuking scoreboard. Pitt wants a close game because they reallycan't hang so I say we torch dees sum bitches
Fuck him. After those postgame remarks on Sunday and now this?? He wants to join the bandwagon. Or it could be just a way to put pressure on the Steelers and make us the favorites. Either way ... Fuck Cowher.
Fuck him. He's trying to pull a Tom Jackson here. I can smell it from a mile away. We go out there and we hit em in the mouth just like we did the colts and the pats.
If I hated everyone who picked against the Jets; I'd never enjoy NFL Network or ESPN. It takes a man to admit when he's wrong. How can you expect a non Jets fan to predict a win over Peyton Manning & the Colts in the dome? How could a non Jets fan expect the Jets to go into NE, & take out two future HOF locks in Belly & Brady? The Jets turned Cowher into a believer; It's as simple as that. He made some really good points. He made it known that he's NEVER seen Brady look so lost & confused out there. He just gave Rex & our defense big time respect with those comments. He also pointed out how great the Steelers run defense has been, head & shoulders above everyone else. Allowing 400 yards less than the 2nd ranked run defense? Scary good. He knows how to beat this Pittsburgh defense. He talked about how our best pass protection for Sanchez, is to stick with the ground & pound; which will force Harrison & Woodley to stay honest. We cant afford to give these OLB's the chance to pin their ears back. He's also correct when saying our best 'D' is to keep Ben & the Steelers offense off the field.
We'll never be the favorites to win. The bettors have decided that, so does a 6th seed entering a 2 seeds house.
And Rex can play the disrespect card with that...the Packers are favored. Why not the Jets? The disrespect card plays itself there, but I sense Rex will embellish it a bit.
"if you can keep Ben Roethlisberger off the field like they kept Tom Brady and Peyton Manning off the field," Tom Brady was actually on the field for 35 minutes
